GMVN (Mandakini Resort), TILWARA

One of the finest Resort of GMVN. It is on the Bank of the River Mandakini. Spectacular Location. We had wonderful time at this place.

Everything and everyone was amazing. The people in the reception, the managers , the service staff, everyone was so well behaved. Imagine a 5 star property with 5 star sercice at half the price. This is amazing!!

Spent one evening and a night at this resort. This resort is on the banks of a river and the beautiful noise of flowing water was a great mental peace giver.
Even though we were 30+ team and resort was full the restaurant team gave us a very good service and warm service. Definitely, the rooms are functional and meet the current day's expectations.
Excellent location and beautifully maintained gardens.
Recommend to consider this place for a longer holiday.

Nice place to stay but nothing to do near by!! If you plan to take a halt on your long travelling you can consider staying here in peace

Beautiful Resort on the bank of river Mandakini. Very amazing view. The river is just beside the resort and you can feel the flow of it.

A very awesome place to stay, location, food and services are very good, very polite nature of staff.

This was a very good property, considering it’s govt run. Rooms and bathrooms were good. Bed was comfortable. Location was very good just adjacent to Mandakini river. Whole time you can hear the sound of river. This place also has variety of mango trees. Food was good. AC were working. You had hot water available in bathrooms as greasers were working. It was our midpoint while heading from Delhi to Badrinath.

Location is as marked. Valley of river Mandakini. Rooms are fairly new and have basic amenities required including geyser, Tv etc. Did not face any power outage. Small sit out/balcony is also attached to all rooms. Restaurant is available with decent quality food.
They also provided extra mattress on demand.
There is also a small kids garden/playarea and is also otherwise very green with pathways to walk around.
Best part is that there is access to the River bed just a minutes distance from the place where you can relax.
Great place to relax with a soothing atmosphere. You can hear the gushing of Mandakini waters all throughout the day.
Despite windy or stormy weather, the rooms are very insulated so you won't hear outside noise.
The accommodation has become pricey over the years but the location makes up for it.
GMVN has upped the game.

I would recommend this place to anyone. The rooms are in superb condition, the staff is very very nice. The location is amazing - right next to the Mandakini river. We were the only people besides another family in the entire resort but we felt very safe and comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone.

Being quite a recent construction, this Mandakini Resort at Tilwara ensures a comfortable stay with all modern amenities, with a beautiful enchanting views of surrounding. The hot water in the room is one of the most reassuring thing to consider for any hotel in hills. Mandakini resort will not disappoint you on that at all... The entire area is extremely picturesque with a lot of birds around...

We had an amazing stay at Mandakini Resort, I could say this property was so far my best experience with a Govt Resorts. It has beautiful landscape and one can access Mandakini river by a 2 min walk. Beautiful rooms with beautiful balcony views. Very cozy and comfortable and home style food. What else a traveller needs.

A very serene and peaceful place to stay just beside the Mandakini river. The mesmerizing music 🎼 of river water makes you feel a very spiritual experience while sitting in the balcony of the cottage. If want to get rid of the hustle and bustle of cities, this would be a perfect destination.
The food served here is having less oil and the taste is wonderful.. Staff is very polite and attentive to fulfill all your demands.
Altogether it's a very satisfactory and joyful experience to stay here.
I would definitely suggest friends and relatives to book this resort if Tilwara is on their itinerary.

It has a very good location The property has a lot of space next to river Mandakani and you can hear the sound of river from the cottages.Sleep quality is excellent the food is good and freshly prepared oil is less,you can get eggs chicken but it has to be ordered previously as they buy from local market. End April was hot but luckily rain started and it became cool for next 2 days. 201to 206 are God stay The people there are very friendly and good service is good also.

Mandakini Resort is one of the best property of GMVN...the location can beat any 5 star property...

We had a great time at GMVN Tilwara. Huge, comfortable rooms and the riverside location made for a memorable trip. Special thanks to the staff who spoilt us with excellent freshly prepared food. We would love to go back some time.

Hidden gem and a must go. Very well maintained resort by the Mandakini river. There are some drawbacks like frequent power cuts, smaller rooms, relatively hot in the summer. But everything can be forgiven for the tranquillity and serenity this place provides. No chaos, all kind of birds will sing and dance for you in the lap of nature. It's pretty much like a jungle safari.

It's a very nice place in the lap of nature. Property situated in riverbed of Mandakini river. Very nice place to spend some time here. Must visit place. Staffs are very helpful, food slightly high price tag but quality is good. It's a luxurious stay in the lap of nature.

Located in the bank of River... Rooms are excellent in all respect. There is attached modern Toilet with Geyser. All Rooms have balcony facing to river.. lots birds are there.. cum and quite place to spend.
