Good place for understanding how our grandparents and parents used to enjoy the real village life and how fun filled it must be along with the challenges as there were no amenities that we have today....

It is good to make our children understand what life used to be in old times at villages.

Must visit with kids over 5-6 years of age as they can understand such small things....

An excellent effort to showcase as how a village used to function as an independent Unit.
when there was barter system in place and crucial cogs of this time tested societal machinery since 5 millennium.
We visited in the evening. That light-dusk-dark made the display houses, their occupants and path meandering through them made the experience credibly realistic. Finally arrived at Patil’s Villa set and I was overwhelmed with my childhood memories.
I left with great amount of nostalgia and bit of mixed emotions.

Refreshed with all all village memorise, very nice place. The living style in the village (prior to 25-30 years) have been shown in a very beautiful way. After looking all this we feels to live in such village.

I was surprised that this gem is located in the middle of a highly urban area like Pashan..
The place is maintained well..but as per other historical places of the city, we are not marketing this well..
The garden is open till 8pm in the evening, it's easy to find as it's adjacent to famous Pashan shiv temple

It's very good place to visit in the city the location is Little hard to find without Google maps.
Must visit with family and friends.
The status are very creative and looks real. The artists have done a great job 👍.
Some of the statuses need shades as there is some wear and tear visible.
The entry charge is 50 rupees for adults.
Overall a good experience if you don't want to travel a lot outside the City.

The theme is based on a small village and actually you will feel like you have visited a village. They have displayed all types of workmen in a village. It is a good learning for the children.

Cons:
1. Need more maintenance
2. The description boards are only in Marathi.

Should be advertised more.
Best place for anyone to know Maharashtrian culture. It shows most of the festivals and culture related ceremonies here.
The information for each scene should be written in english too for understanding, it is just in Marathi. Since, we saw a foreigner family they were just looking and moving on to next scene.
Some of the status need maintenance. The others are amazing it feels as if someone real person is present.

Gram sanskruti its name explains everything. Its a MUST VISIT place. Dont know why it is not advertised properly? Its totally amazing park to visit with WHOLE Family.

1) U can see लोहार, potter, barber shop, person selling peanuts, कासार (bangles seller) etc. statues in old maharashtrian village. Statues of people celebrating festivals in old days, how people were living in village in Maharashtra.

2) Sculptures are Amazingly Beautiful.

3) There is very nominal entry fee. 50 rs for adults n 30 rs for children and that's fairly worth for what we can see inside.

4) conceptualised by Vinayak Nimhan and 1000 marks for sculpture and artist or artists who has made it so Perfect.

5) There are two clean washrooms for gents and ladies with sufficient water.

It's a beautiful Shiva Temple, Someshwar wadi. And next to that, there's is this garden.
About Temple: beautiful rock Temple, with ample of space and such a positive vibes. Must visit. They have 12 Jyotirlinga setup in the same Temple premises.

About Garden: Gram Sanskriti udyan is a very spacious garden, where-in you can view how's village life. Houses, people, their style of living in village. The statues are real life. You may feel, those are real people. Wear something comfortable to walk, because it's big. It might crush your legs. Best time to visit as per me, would be evening. Winter evenings or even afternoon would be fine.
Loved the place to take parents, senior citizen and toddlers/children.
Garden is open till 8.30pm.

Beautiful place. The quality of sculptures is excellent. Today's young generation must visit such places to stay connected with their roots. I only wish they add descriptions in Hindi or English, so that a wider audience can appreciate the stories behind the displays.

Excellent place to visit with young kids. Sculptures are beautiful and the village scenes created are very creative.
A whole village is depicted with the sculptures and wall drawing.
Lots of trees are there, so can be visited in noon, bring your own water bottle, as water cooler is only at a single place.
Around an hour is enough to complete the tour.
There is no place inside to eat your food.
