Cherry Resort

Best place for those who wanna see nothing but green and hear nothing but noise of nature. Just sit in silence , read a book, and enjoy the homely food. Courteous staff. The road access is great. Better than gangtok or Darjeeling.

It’s the one and only hotel among the beautiful Temi Tea estate.
An abode of peace indeed.
The place is in the outskirts and it’s hard to reach the local town nearby.
The resort on its own is a bit old fashioned with limited resources but that’s all you can get in a remote location like this.

If you live to travel and you love nature, then try out this place if you’re out there in Sikkim⛰

What a lovely place. Try to spend at least 2 days with friends and family. Norbu ji is a very nice person and all the staffs of the resort are also very polite.

In a word, wonderful. A beautiful place to spend time in the sprawling green tea gardens. An up close visit to Kanchenjunga is an added bonus.
What else do you want? The food here is also very tasty. All staffs are amazing. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. It’s a great experience.

Revisited this place after 3 years, the staff got better but the food in here needs little improvement.

the staff were very cooperative and helpful.
The manager was friendly and did a great job.

The only fact that was off is that the rooms have insufficient winter amenities and warming facilities.
Also, the electricity here is fluctuating. So, make sure y'all carry necessary power banks.

But the location is epic and worth every time.

Strategically located in the midst of the lush green Temi Tea Garden, Cherry Resort offers a 360° view of the Himalayan Ranges, the meadering roads lined by the Cherry Trees and the undulating green mountains on all sides. Not only will you get a view of Mt. Kanchenjunga right from your bed, the open terrace at the resort offers a breathtaking view of a wide range of peaks in the distance. With a cup of hot coffee or a plate of aloo parathas soak in the sun and the mountains.

The hotel staff are warm and hospitable and will ensure to help you with everything you need. The rooms are spacious, clean and have open balconies. The rooms on the backside provide a view of the snow-caped ranges while the ones on the front overlook the gorgeous sunrise among the cherry trees. The best time to visit Cherry Resort is end of October to middle of November as the cherry trees are in full bloom and paint the mountains with their soft pink hues.

What a lovely place. Try to spend as much time as you have. You will feel Nature with your great time.

Great location and view. Rooms are big. Toilet specious and clean.
I don't like the food which is over priced and not very well cooked. I think if they had offered home style food as served in home stay it will be more enjoyable.
Overall good stay. All rooms has view. Back side rooms are Kanchanjunga facing. In a clear day sleeping Budha is visible from the balcony.

Probably the best property located at Temi Tea Garden. Rooms & washrooms were neat and cleaned. Excellent views from the balcony. One can stay the whole day in this property without visiting sightseeing. Service could have been better but food was great. Highly recommended.

Visited this place in 2 nd wk of Jan and stayed in this resort no doubt the view of sunrise and kanchanjangha at the same time from its roof is just of no comparison. Even the chilled weather can't Stop me to go outside and see the beauty of nature. It will definitely refresh your mind. The behaviour of the manager and staff is good . In the evening we ordered some chicken dishes for snacks and for dinner (rice potato cauliflower curry and chicken fried rice )which were also good.we were served complementary tea in the evening which was from temi tea garden.👍 But they don't have electric kettle they provide hot water flux.

Location, scenic beauty, clear view of Kanchenjunga range from backside rooms and the huge terrace simply magnificent. Excellant Valley view from all rooms. Temi Tea Factory is a good tourist attraction. Rooms are large, well furnished. Each room has independent balcony where you can spend a day enjoying nature.

Having visited the place just last week (6th May 2022), I'm in absolute love with this place. Incredible scenic beauty, immaculate position of the resort and good service offered.
Although, the rooms are a bit musty and in some cases wardrobes and bathroom door knobs are not properly working (workarounds available), overall the service was quite good and the serenity is completely a worthwhile experience.

Fantastic, fantastic location.Five stars for it.There is a catch though....Rooms placed eastward are suitable for winter.Rooms placed westward are suitable for summer.Get clarification on this point prior to booking.Overall,a beauty.Would love to visit again.

Excellent hospitality .....i left my sweater behind at the hotel room.Mr.Mirab Dorji Bhutia took the pains & showed a very kind gesture in sending it back to me.They so patiently dealt with me.....to my utter astonishment!God bless......

Cherry Resort is famous for its location.What most people don't know is that both the MD, Mr. Norbu Bhutia and Manager, Mr Mirab Bhutia are extremely helpful & service-oriented.
Also, the Chef is wonderful & food is delicious.
All three lady attendants are very helpful & courteous, especially Sumita, who helped us a lot.

Out of the world experience amidst sprawling and manicured Temi tea garden. Its a classic resort with large, spacious rooms, providing some of the iconic views of Temi Tea Garden. Just take a morning walk along the winding roads and you will feel refreshed and elated. Quality of Food and Service is highly commendable. Good Job. Keep it Up.

Recently visited the property for two nights stay at the esteemed property..The weather was not good so we could not enjoy the sinic view around the beautiful property but the behaviour of the staffs were extremely good. Thanks to Mr Norbu for providing such a great property for the tourists

It is a beautiful, fantastic, nature-friendly resort come hotel. It's surrounded by a tea garden. The name of the tea is temi tea. the resort is on three floors. We are staying in the 1st-floor deluxe room. As per the entry point to any floor on the right-sided room is the Kanchenjunga view room and sunrise view room also tea garden view also available. And left side room is outside the tea garden and street view. each room has an attached bathroom and balcony. Also, mirror, Elmira, and child potty pot are available. Always hot water is available. Room service is also available for tea, hot water, food any time(except the time of cleaning time). The food was marvelous and delicious. But I suggested Chinese and Thai food was better and tried within that menu. Bengali food's taste is not that good. But not bad also. Their service and behavior are very good. As per my opinion, the food price is expensive and quantity and quality are very good. My suggestion should be to go there and stay for at least two days. An amazing time is November because at that time u can see cherries surrounding the resort... Managers and caretakers are too good and helpful.

It is a wonderful resort. The location of the resort is extremely good. You get to see a wide range of Kanchenjunga from the terrace and from the room. You will also get a bright sunshine in the room. The food is also very nice but the resort lacks MAINTAINENCE. But the overall resort is just unforgettable.

One of the best place to stay, if you want to visit Temi Tea Garden. The view is magnificent. Specially during 2nd week of November. You will enjoy lots of cherry trees in full blossom. No need to go to Japan or Korea. From 15th to 17th November every year cherry blossom festival is being held at Temi Tea Garden. Sky is also very clear to view the kanchanjunga range. This period is best to visit there.
