Visited in evening .spread on a big area . Ambience is peaceful and divine . Beautiful temple .Evening aarti was going on. Boating is also available.

God Shiva appears to be real. I got a positive vibe.It does have different energy to itself that is just so serene and earthly yet spiritually calming at the same time. Good vibes and spacious areas. Spend some hours there and you will be refreshed. Very old temple which was lord shiva linga was established by pandavas.

Historical temple, on it Wagholi name given to the Village.

A small lake is there where boating can also be done ( Paid).

Location is very good, on Nagar Road only.

Temple structure is very old and awesome. You can feel the eternal peace inside the temple.

A really peaceful place to go to if you are feeling down. It does have different energy to itself that is just so serene and earthly yet spiritually calming at the same time. You might have to wait in line a little on Mondays or any other significant shiva days. Other than that, I don't see a reason to not go to. Even if you are not religious, you will feel the divinity!

Peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by lots of trees and with a beautiful lake and small Nana Nani Park in the temple.
Clean Temple, clean washroom.
Most of the time no waiting.

Wagheshwar Mahadev Temple is in Wagholi, Pune. It is one of oldest temple of pune and a must visit temple for everyone. I went in the evening time and the aarti was just started, it was great experience for me.

The temple space is very big with a small pond and it looks like the boating and all use to happen here but it is now covered with steel wires, not sure if they open for public. Also, you will see there are lots of crows who keeps on chanting like anything.

This is a very peacefull place and if you are a true devotee, mahadev bhakt you can visit here, please note that you can put milk, curd etc on shivling also short dresses, PDA's are not allowed as i have seen this in a poster.

It was a very good experience. especially if u visit between 4-7pm. Boating is also available there. There are some fishes in Lake. Good vibes and spacious areas. Spend some hours there and u'll be refreshed.

It's a nice spot to visit. The temple and its surroundings are my favourite parts. Feel like you're a pure spirit. God Shiva appears to be real. I got a positive vibe.

One of the most visited and believed pilgrimage places for people all over Pune. It's been a place where my heart and soul always find peace like infinite people who come here on a daily basis for pilgrimage. The beauty gets more enhanced due to its lustering pond next to the temple's well paved courtyard and a small yet beautiful nana nani park in the vicinity.

Good Serene and vibrant surrounding, quite a place to sit, worship, no rush except shravan auspicious days and Monday. Temple is clean and maintained properly.
Make sure you visit in decent clothes as one should visit to temple.

They don't allow people in shorts, so dress properly.

Very nice temple. You won't believe that it is a recent construction stone work is magnificent. There is no immediate parking available. You need to park your vehicle on the road. A small lake is maintained inside and booting is available which is very pleasant. In the evening. There is also one fountain which is quite attractive at the time of sunset. It is also samadhi stal of various historical people.
There was renovation work going on when I last visited.

Wagheshwar temple, in our own language, वाघेश्वर मंदिर।

It is a very peaceful place, lake, nature, greenery, ambience. And the most important -birds sound 'singing and enjoying' all over the lake and temple during the evening time, makes it look like very beautiful and amazing place.

The temple has a very historical importance and chatrapati shivaji maharaj used to visit the temple for lord Shiva worship.
