I and my friend did Goechala trek with Hiddenparadise Adventure Tours company in 2007. Dawa the guide and the owner of this company was very nice person and he always care about us during our trek. he is very professional and knowledgable about nature and culture. We had very best service/tents were very good in condition and food during the trek was unforgetable,cook was very experienced and we never thought that we would gain weight after doing 8 days trek in the mountains.
I can say,we had a very well organised trek from Hiddenparadise adventure tours.
I hearlty recommend this Company for it best service and experience.

I just came back from the Goecha La treck run by Dawa and his team.

I have to complement Dawa on running an absolutely brilliant, highly professional outfit! All needs are catered for perfectly.

Everything was efficiently organised from a seamless airport pickup all the way down to excellent 3 course meals every day whilst on the trek.

We had a lot of cloud on the first few days of our trip (Down to the time of year unfortunately) but this all cleared by the end and we had some absolutely amazing views).

Dawa seemed highly reliable and very professional, safe guide.

If you're thinking of a trip to the Himalayas, I highly recommend hidden paradise adventures. They will not disappoint!

When one of our members had AMS/ altitude mountain sickness, Dawa organized and quickly came up with the plan to evacuate her to a lower altitude that helped her and probably saved her life. Let me start from begining, We were totally confused whom to trust for such big amount of money and difficult trek in the land about which none of us knew nothing about. When we talked to Dawa, he quickly gained our trust and made sure that we can come and have a great time. He was there personally at the Bagdogra airport to rcieve us and drop us throgh 7 hours of journey to Yuksom. The hotel was pretty awesome. We were introduced to our guide also named Dawa and we then started our trekking with gradual introduction to all our porters and cook and joes. He made sure that the tents were good and all the equipements are of good quality. During the trek the guide Dawa was very helpful and the cook (Biju) was good as well. He made us good meals and healthy items based on requirements according to the weather conditions. Porters (Vishal and Narbu) inspired us by their quick service and swift climbing skills. Yakmen were pretty fast in packing stuff and helped us start on time. During the decent as well everyone made sure that we are safe and motivated. When we came down from our trek the guide Dawa was with us all the time in case we need anything. Very sweet people and simplicity in its most beautiful form. Dawa also accompanied us in the return to Bagdogra. Now let me complete the review by stating what he did outside of his "duties" - 1. He arranged for sub zero sleeping bags from his friend. 2. He also arranged for hot water bags 3. He also arranged our stay in the hotel near Bagdogra arport through his reference. 4. He guided us about the stuff we should bring and suggested what should we do when we do such difficult treks. So go for the round trek or Dzongri treks or any difficult treks in Sikkim through his team and you will enjoy.

Dawa Tshering and his company Hidden Paradise Adventure Tours gave me the trip of a lifetime in the mountains of Sikkim. I was on the Dzongri-Goechela trek in western Sikkim. I had trekked twice previously in Nepal, and this was my first time in Sikkim. The trek was everything I had hoped it would be and more. The guide Bashant spoke good English, and was kind and attentive to our needs. All the porters were friendly and cheerful. Meals were well prepared and adjusted for personal tastes. Every morning coffee and hot water was brought to my tent. Bashant led me in the dark with a flashlight up to the overlook in Dzongri to see the first morning light strike Mt. Kachenjunga, a very spiritual moment. The hotels arranged in Gangtok and Yuksom were very good. Dawa was always where he said he would be, when he said he would be there. All permits were handled properly by Dawa and Bashant. Transport to and from the airport at Bogdagra was on time and reliable. It was a consistent and dependable trekking company. They made it a very special trip that I cherish.

We went with Hidden Paradise for the Goecha La trek in April 2013. They were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Dawa organised the whole trek and all of our permits and gave us tours of Yuksam and Darjeeling. Our guide UT was fantastic, very knowledgable, very kind and really passionate about the conservation of the natural beauty of the area. The company aims to properly pay and equip their staff for the mountains - unlike some others we encountered. The service was incredible, including bed teas in the morning and hot water bottles for the cold nights. The food was excellent and varied and more than we could eat even burning through loads of calories hiking up into the Himalayas. Our tent was spacious and robust, and we had very comfortable mats to go with the ones we brought ourselves. The trek was absolutely beautiful, unspoilt and remote - I can't recommend it or Hidden Paradise enough.

Thanks to Hidden Paradise our maiden trek was as easy and hassle free as we could ever wish for.

We planned for a trek to Dzongri and didn't know how to take it forward. That was before we knew of Hidden Paradise and Dawa Tshering. We made the plan and discussed the details on call. And Dawa ensured every detail was taken care for.

The support team (special thanks to Sunil and Danny) was excellent. I felt a little sad returning back home leaving behind a place so beautiful and our very hospitable host. Its a tour we'll remember fondly.
