This is one of the most beautiful place. You can visit this place either on foot or by car both ways are equally important to behold the surrounding beauty of the area. Better would be if you have time to stay there in the Dharamshala or some private hotels. I recommend your foot way to reach there...

Divine temple of Lord Shiva ~ Neat and clean area as well temple ~ impressed with que arrangements and shops in tin shed ~ be blessed and get peace ~ lord Shiva took the vish (poision) and meditated for the welfare of the universe. You have to be alert while walking on the road as rough driving by some taxi drivers create panic. I went on monday and there was good rush. Only jal allowed in the temple ~ you can take the prasad thali but pujari ji will allow only jal to be poured on the ling.
