Thakurbari Temple

Thakurbari Temple in Gangtok, and it was truly a remarkable experience. This temple is a gem nestled in the heart of Gangtok, and I can't recommend it enough, especially during festival times.

Thakurbari is a very beautifully constructed Hindu temple. It’s one of the oldest temples in the heart of the city. There are sculptures of many Hindu gods and goddesses outside the temple. When I visited it was closed hence could not go inside but the architecture is simply awesome.

Beautiful temple containing idols of multiple Gods and Goddesses including Jagannath and Shani devta. Not much crowded, beautiful ambience and toilet also present within the premises.

A beautiful temple, had literally all hindu Gods and Goddesses, one of the oldest Hindu temple in Sikkim. Was really amazed by the level of maintenance. If your are at MG Marg then this place must be visited. Really wonderful design work on the walls of the temple. At night with lighting it really looks amazing.....

This is a hidden gem near the MG Marg. The temple is well maintained and clean. The architecture is also unique, it has a modern touch which is not very common in temples in India.
