Badrinath Youth Hostel

The place is extremely accessible and the dormitory was comfortable with good beds, bedsheets. The toilets were clean and functional and the geyser was working well . 9 of us stayed at the dormitory during Diwali 2022 and even though the weather was freezing the rooms
Were warm and clean even without a heater. The best affordable stay at Badrinath .. the hotel is about 1.5km from temple hence own transportation is a must . But otherwise it was nice . The kitchen was closed during our stay as the staff was in leave but otherwise it is highly recommended .

Youth Hostel, Badrinath has been well maintained. We stayed here for 2 days in June 2022. Hospitality was really good, especially MR. Barthwal and his son Rahul Barthwal helped us a lot.
I would recommend to stay here if you visit Badrinath anytime. Temple from Youth hostel is 1 km.

Nice govt residential place in Badrinath town... It is situated at the entry to the town and next to the Badrinath helipad... It has great view and one can enjoy the mountains surrounding it... Rooms are value for money... The only negative would be - it is a bit far away from the Badri Vishal temple (little over 2 kms) and also you have to climb a hill to reach the hotel, so might not be suitable for the elderly... The manager and the pantry staff and sweet helpful Garhwali people... Thums up to the staff and the hotel

Hostel is located at a very great place, Covered with mountains from 2 side. Badrinath dham(temple) is just 800-900 mts away from hostel. Manager and staff of this hostel are very polite and helpful. If compare to other tariffs are very less, cleaning is good.

Welcoming staff, economic pricing, clean rooms, basic healthy food and guidance about Badrinath and near by places makes this place a fantastic one. Highly recommended.

Best and comfortable stay and it’s nearby the temple in within 1 km so you can walk easily from you to the temple and the view is mind blowing

Good facility for lodging, fully clean and the owner(retd. ex army personnel) of this place is also nice, good accomodation considering it being under govt of India undertaking.

as quiet as it can get.. no network (all of Badrinath) and the chill.. this place spaciously built and has nice arrangements (when compared to other youth hostels).. can get really really really chilly at night (even at daytime).. had a privilege to celebrate Independence Day here, on our way to Vasudhara Falls trek.. hope this review helps somehow..

A best place for backpackers in Badrinath.Room, dormatory are available . YHAI members get pervilage. Manager of the hostel is very kind and cooperative. Kitchen available but sometimes reserved for the trekkers organised bt YHAI. Location is beautiful. If someone want to stay get down from bus/taxi at the police check poat while entering Badrinath.

Youth Hostel programmes are very super planned. They give opportunities for trekking expeditions at lowest cost. Their hostels / tents / accomodations are perfect.

We were staying here during our YHAI trek. It has separate dormitory accommodation for male and female. Was clean and comfortable.

It is a good and cheap residing place in Badrinath. Dormitory as well as rooms available for night stay.
