A good place for Naval aircraft enthusiast because here we have an actual Naval aircraft and we are allowed to go inside it via a bridge and that is the most awesome part of this place. Here from inside you can see every machinery as it is and appreciate the connections engineering behind such an amazing flying machine

Wonderful, just a fantastic place to visit. Brilliant display of talent and capabilities of Indian Airforce pilots. I recommend engineering students to visit, jet engines are on display and many equipment that are used in airforce planes.

Visit to the TU 142 museum was amazing. The sheer size of this naval surveillance aircraft baffles you. If a typical naval fighter jet is a seagull, this one is an albatross! A marvellous piece of engineering with the interior being larger than most apartments. That this was a Russian designed and manufactured hardware is testimony to the close defence connections between India and the former USSR. The TU 142 is a maritime patrol and anti-submarine craft with instrumentation. It was manufactured between 1968 and 1994. Besides the Indian Navy, the Russian Navy and Ukrainian Airforce flew or continue to fly this giant plane. This particular craft on display at the museum served the Indian Navy for 29 yrs and has an accident free record of 30,000 flying hours. It’s along RK Beach in Visakhapatnam and a must see.

An excellent location to delve into the history of wartime aircraft. It's impeccably maintained, offering insights into Indian Air Force ranks, gallantry awards, and their historical context. Visitors can explore inside a real war aircraft, providing a firsthand experience. Overall, it's a fantastic spot.

This is a great place to visit. The best deal would be to buy a ticket for all 3 museums at once, which would cost Rs. 140. Had a good time here, especially with the aircraft. We can spend about 45 minutes here to explore well.

A place dedicated to the Indian Naval Aviation Wing. It is an aircraft museum where a Tu 142 Albatross has been kept on display. Apart from the aircraft there are many more informative things related to Indian Navy and Aviation in the museum.

If in Vizag, do visit the Aircraft Museum.

Beautiful museum and well maintained. After entry you can also enjoy sound show to well understand about aircrafts. A big aircraft is there which is converted into the museum where you can see the inner structure of the aircraft. Wonderful museum and must visit, it is situated exactly opposite from the submarine museum. New attraction is the signage of vizag for all photo lovers.

Right exactly opposite to another museum (Submarine Museum Kursura) this Bomber Aircraft was installed very recently. I always wanted to become a Pilot and for some reasons I do something else for living, this aircraft gave me an aopportunity to understand fly men's life.

It was an actual aircraft, brought to Visakhapatnam after decommissioning and made it available for public. On a nice evening at RK beach, you could just grab some local snacks and visit it with friends or family.

Trust me, you won't be bored and you'll start respecting the defense forces. Good luck!

I was in awe at what I had seen here. My experience to such a topic was limited to what I had gathered from movies or the luxurious economy class we travel in flights. This is so hi-tech. Salute to the pilots and crew who flew this and had fought wars in this. This machine just shows what humans are capable of. It makes you feel very insignificant in what we doing.

Just amazing things to see and feel. Also one can acquire more knowledge about the aircraft design and it's history. You can get inside a plane model and can see all of it's parts which gives more detailed information about the machinery parts of it. Outside there is a beautiful garden. And the ticket price is also very low.
