An excellent airport that served Bali. The airport is clean, well maintained, have great natural lights, and the airport is not too crowded. The domestic side of the airport is excellent. The security is friendly and quick. There are many food available before and after the security clearance.

They have fast food and many restaurants in both side, though the better ones are located before the security clearance. The airport have many good stores, though the price is higher as expected from stores in the airport.

The airport isn’t that crowded as the spaces are spacious and there are ample seatings available. Most of the domestic departures are using jet bridges - a comfortable experience.

The airport is very clean, all of the toilets are clean and well maintained.

Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali serves as a significant hub for international and domestic flights. The modern and clean international terminal offers various amenities, while the domestic terminal is well-equipped with easy transportation access. Despite occasional traffic congestion, the airport provides a positive travel experience for passengers.

The airport is quite impressive if I have to say, actually to me the design of it looks very fun.

Was a really easy process to go through check in each security gate, and immigration both in departure plus arriving. Everything was just a really smooth process, and at the time we didn’t have to take our shoes off to make it through the security gate. Lots of restaurants, and shops to keep you entertained while waiting for your flight or just arriving looking for a snack. Plus their parking garage, and when you walk in for the first time into Bali itself is such an amazing experience.

Definitely one of my top airports that I would enjoy to chill in.

Nice airport with a lot of possibilities for eating, drinking and shopping (including. souvenirs). Security check is easy and fast. The WiFi is really bad and it works quite often not. Some chairs at the airport have charging possibilities (see pictures).

Everything was okay except for the fact that the toilet is quite far and hidden. We asked a few staff members and walked for 15-20 minutes in the airport, only managing to find it eventually.

A glimpse about last day at airport in Bali.
I captured some aerial photos and videos as well. Hope you like it!
Notes:
1. Make sure you know how the up-to-date regulations to enter Bali (I heard they charge the foreigners. Allegedly it is around 150,000 rupiah fee, equivalent to around $15, would need to be paid on arrival. Bali's Governor Wayan Coster said the money will go to protecting the island's environment and culture (check some online reliable sources)
2. Make sure about any safety with foods. Bali Belly is no joke lol.
3. To-do list while in Bali sometimes help you where to go.
4. I list some cool destination along with my previous review in Bali. Check that out :)

One of Indonesia's best international airports, on par with Jakarta. It's modern in design and facilities with a tropical feel, beautiful decor, and cultural touches. There are plenty of shops and restaurants, especially before security. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi works well. You can find duty-free shops, regular stores, and restaurants, all with a tropical vibe. There are also smoking rooms available.

Welcome to Bali, the ultimate paradise.
Your adventure starts right here.

Nice airport. Lots of space to move around. Customs does take a bit of time to get through but overall this not uncommon in most airports. It’s a very clean airport. I would suggest that you prearrange with your accommodation transportation or get the Grab app for an Uber like service.

Great improvement and many shops for shopping. Bad connection for WiFi and should have small trolley like in Singapore. It will help people to go shopping.

Here is a step-by-step guide to visitors on clearing immigration and printing QR code for customs clearance:

Step 1: Alight from aircraft. Proceed towards immigration counter to get passport stamped.

Step 2: Proceed to baggage claim. Go towards the wall where there are a few computers for people to submit customs declaration. Luggages would take a while before they will show up at the Belt.

Step 3: Fill in details of personal particulars like passport, flight, accommodation, and made declarations by answering the questions.

Step 4: After pressing submit, a QR code will be shown. Take a picture of this, and press “print” to get a hard copy.

Step 5: After collecting your luggage, proceed to customs and show the QR code. They will scan it and motion you to walk out.

Hope it helps!

Bali International Airport impresses with its spacious and well-maintained facilities. The process of exiting the airport is efficient and hassle-free. For foodies and shoppers, there’s an abundance of options, from a variety of food outlets to an array of shopping destinations. Plus, the duty-free shopping experience here is top-notch, making it a great start (or end) to our journey.

Very good international airport serving Bali. Although the airport is not huge, there are a decent number of restaurants, cafes and duty free shopping places. Custom and baggage collection are fast and the airport is clean as well.

Good airport, signs/instructions are easy to find everywhere so you don’t worry about getting lost when in the airport. Tips, if you want to see/spot aircraft landing, you can go to GATE 6 go up to the smoking area through the stairs

Very mother airport and has all the facilities, but, going through the immigration is the slowest moving line that I've ever been in. It takes a long time for each person to pass through the immigration

Easy to get around and staff were friendly and helpful. The diner food was yummy, but overpriced as always in airports. I found out too late that the sandwiches at Donut King were cheaper and bigger. They probably had better coffee too, since they serve donuts.

Denpasar airport is spacious and nice. The aroma of traditional Balinese incense can be smelled from the moment you land at this airport

Last two months, I got a transit in Bali airport. The airport is so impressive with the architecture and structure. The airport staffs and officers were very friendly, so I felt I received a warm welcome when I arrived. Unfortunately the power plugs in Indonesia were quite differ, I couldn't charge my phone.
