A wonderful experience at the zoo. Probably the most beautiful and well maintained zoo we’ve visited in the world. Definitely worth it getting there early as there is a lot to do. They do such a great job catering for children. Worth it exploring all the experiences. A must see when visiting Singapore 🇸🇬.

The zoo is amazing. Huge and nicely done. You can spend the whole day here.

There is also a tram which drives you around.

Its great for children. There is also a big playground. And everywhere you can fill your bottle with water.

The animals look healthy and content.
Of course freedom would be better.

We took a taxi and got the ticket online.
It all went smoothly.

As an Indian tourist, we really loved the Singapore zoo experience.
We purchased the online tickets with tram rides. We did not wait for any queues.
This place is well maintained and the staff were really helpful to guide us.
We also took the night safari at 7:30pm and we enjoyed every bit of it.
There is a restaurant within and a kids play area for those who like to relax. It was not too crowded in a weekday.
Do not miss your camera to capture some close shots with the animals and bird here.

By far the best zoo I have ever visited. The animals are less restricted and can move about a large area, sometimes even between enclosures should they choose. While still being safe, there is also less of a barrier between you and the animals, giving a greater experience and a respectful degree of personal interaction. Unlike what I have seen in other zoos, the animals seem at peace, and the enclosures are immaculate. There was no sense of overcrowding, and the interaction between animals was more natural and often playful. I especially enjoyed the short show they put on with lemurs, otters, and other small animals. The chunky little badgers were amusing, and the bird display at the end of the show was impressive. We were there for about 3.5hrs and I wish we could have stayed longer. I would have also really liked to have seen the night safari; maybe next time.
Be sure to drink plenty of water as you walk around the park. It's Singapore, so you are going to get sweaty

A zoo that is pleasant, clean, well-organized, and not too big to not be able to go through in one morning. A trolley (with guided tour) regularly runs through the main paths of the zoo and can provide a respite to walking in the humidity and heat. There is also a large pavillion that puts on shows with parrots etc. For food, a fairly large food court offers plenty of solutions.

🎟We went on a weekday and bought tickets for the zoo and the night safari. No waitline.

😍The experience at the zoo was great. We could see all the animals so close! There’s a walking trail and a tram if you don’t want to walk.

⏱ Approximately, we spend 4 hours in the zoo.

♿ accesible for people with restricted mobility.

Singapore zoo is seriously one of the best in the world. I love how close you can get to the animals without actually having to pay additional fees. Been coming here since I was a kid and it is ALWAYS magical.

Take an extra pair of legs when you are visiting the Singapore zoo :P. The zoo is huge, consists of animals that maybe long due in your checklist - Red Panda, Panda, Giraffe, A walking lion, Zebras, A pooping hippo, monkeys hovering over your head on wires/trees. Their are points/stations all over the zoo, you can actually get on a open bus at 1st stop and the bus can drop you on the second stop, the buses are decently slow so you can have a look at big animals or animals that our not inside their coves. But if you really want to explore the zoo properly and do not miss any animal then these buses are not for you.

Also, if you are visiting the zoo, do not mis the night safari - It is an amazing experience, all the lights are shut, a very medium flare light is on and all/most of the animals are out in the open and you can actually see them having their dinner or just roaming around. Here also they give option of riding a bus or walking in the dark paths to explore fully.

I enjoyed my visit to the zoo, although it's the only one I've been to so far! 😄 Not much to comment on, but it can get crowded. I'd recommend bringing your own umbrella for shade or a fan if you're sensitive to heat.

Great adventure, the fauna is very diversified from all over the world. At first it may seem disappointing (few exponents and/or hidden) but you'll eventually realize there's a lot to see.

They have a tram covering the main road, however it has only a few stops, don't use it for actual visiting but just for returning and/or going to a specific zone, otherwise you'll miss out on a lot.

They also have periodic shows throughout the zoo with various topics, would be interesting to see one or two.

If you have kids get the wagon car to carry them around, the zoo is quite big and there are a lot of roads to cover.

It has a restaurant somewhere in the middle and one more at the end.

Long time I never been in zoo. Feeling excited to visit one day before as if I'm small child. Haha. Quite many animals inside. The staffs inside is helpful and the tram service is good. Which help those people like those bringing kids and elderly to travel from one station to another. Total have 5 stations the tram will stop.

Tickets need to be booked online. There is a zoo app with map and show times that seems to work well on iOS but not so reliable on an Android phone.
There are a lot of animals and it's a well maintained and clean zoo and the animals seem to be treated well. The shows are entertaining, informative and remind the audience of the need for recycling and reusing. The show times information is available on the app. The feeding times information is also available on this. Even if you don't book a feeding, do watch if possible. I enjoyed watching the chimpanzees and orangutans being fed.
I'd highly recommend taking a walk in the fragile forest section as well.
It's a big zoo and needs a lot of waking but tram options are available too. There are a few drinking water stations to refill bottles. There are automatic juicer machines too spread throughout the zoo. Ah meng cafe has good meal options.

One of the best zoo I’ve ever been! Definitely recommend the splash zone during sea lion presentation (bring your rain coat if you dont want soaking clothes after). The restaurant was okay but the taste can be improved. Bring your most comfortable shoes and water bottle

Singapore Zoo never fails to impress both me and my children, offering a consistently enjoyable experience.
With reasonable pricing and frequent promotions, it remains accessible to families, while its cleanliness and well-organized layout enhance the overall visit.

Sheltered areas with seating provide comfort, although the cafeteria may not be the most economical choice, the quality of food compensates for it.

Scheduled animal shows add excitement, and at the far end of the zoo, children can delight in a refreshing water play area, complete with showering facilities for convenience.

Overall, it stands as a fantastic destination for families to explore and create lasting memories together.

Beautiful place. Be ready to walk... There are hop on hop off trams traveling between four zones, but you still need to use your legs if you want to cover every part of the zoo...

Got the good deals 30% discount on ticket from Mandai website. They have good system where we can see the animals nearly. The new established playground Kidz World did bring lots of joy to the kiddos. Also, complimentary tram ride is provided, it’s really convenient for parents who are bringing the young children for sightseeing within the zoo. I would like to special highlight to the excellent service from the rental service department. Thanks for the great service from the staff Eletsya, she offered me to put my luggage in the dept and offered me to charge my phone, even though it’s almost the closure hour, she was so helpful l so that I could get my transportation back to the hotel. I’m so grateful with your excellent service!

A must visit place for foreign vacation with family and friends! The zoo has a very unique and beautiful system to keep the animals as close to their home as possible. Cruelty free totally! Loved the meerkat so much 😍 photo attached!

It is one of the best zoos in the world. Malayan tiger is the attraction of the zoo. Lion was looking very weak and aged, but all other animals were very active. Take the tram ride after walking from one end to another to return back where you can glance at all animals one more time from the comfort of the tram ride. Try fresh orange 🍊 juice from the vending. It was super refreshing.

From the drop off to the entrance is quite far, if you have a toddler please bring a stroller, they have available strollers for rent which is 15 SGD. You can bring extra clothes and swim wear if you plan to go to the splash splash which is free for kids, It's a nice water area to play. Zoo is huge so it will be tiring for kids, but you have the option to take the tram for free as well, but don't miss the animals. Nice to experience the feeding of the animals as you can get closer to them. Book it in advance (online) as you may not get in on the spot. It was fun, lots of food stalls. They have encounters with the animals as well where you can touch them, like goats and rabbits. I suggest you to book the feeding of animals :)
