Wow! the recommended menu at this place turned out to be legit & delicious, especially Sate Sapi. Ayam kampung is also delicious and Nasi Goreng Merah with large portions can be shared by 3-4 people.

Well this is one of the classic and iconic Makassar resto in the city. Located right in the heart of business area, easy to reach and close to downtown area.

Food itself are top notch.
Try Ayam Panggang RM Ujung Pandang, that's the grilled chicken with their secret recipe which is the menu you have to order during your visit.
Nasi Goreng Ujung Pandang, fried rice with tomato sauce really really nice, amazing how they fried it dry, so nothing to worry about the oil and cholesterol level ;)
I actually have stop eating rice, but facing this menu... well, this is something I cant avoid to taste :ppppp
Chicken satay also in my order list, see how thick and fat the chicken cutlet, thread onto skewers and grilled over a gentle heat.

Your tongue will dancing over these menus. Well that's my term of how you enjoy these amazing foods ;)))

Another one of my favorite places to eat Chinese infused foods, seafood, and roast chicken !! Every time my family and I are in Makassar, we always make time to eat at Rumah Makan Ujung Pandang. My husband, who is a very picky eater bule, really loves this place, and that says a lot!!

A very consistent restaurant in town. They bring the old vibes and the food taste very good and fresh. I would like to recommend their Ayam panggang and seafood. One of our family favorite :)

If you looking for local Indonesian chinese (peranakan) style food. This restaurant is one of the best in Makassar city. I like their satay, fried rice, and grilled chicken. Very tasty 👍.

I'll give 100 stars if i can! The crab is that good! The other menu is also good. Try every dish on the menu! Most valid indicator? Many old chinese grandmother came with their family and friends. Beat that michelin stars.

It's a place to find all of Seafood dish here in Makassar. I also asked them to pack food on a box to fly with me. So it's definitely safe-packed for Oleh Oleh!

This is a good seafood restaurant.. The crab is one of the best in town.. Also their "nasi goreng merah" is one of the best in town..
I always marked RM Ujung Pandang as a must visit place to eat everytime I visit Makassar..
