Pekáry-kastély étterem

We visited the restaurant Tuesday late lunch time.
It was quite empty, probably because of the time and the day of the week.
The location is very nice, we sat outside, can say how it is inside to be honest.

Service was very quick, the quality of food was good, we were served by 3 waiters.

Loved the idea of having photos on the menu, as a foreign is quite difficult sometimes to understand what you're going to get even if you are with a locals.

Prices, seems good, I can speak for Hungarians, but we ordered 4 starters and 4 mains plus drinks and we paid £75 or3370000 HUF.

Typical hungarian home cooked food, made from high quality ingredients and attention to detail. Price to quality ratio is correct. We had lunch during the week, we hear the weekend buffet is very good value for money.

Excellent buffet restaurant with a live gypsy band. The food was very delicious, the staff was very kind and the service was very professional.The place is easily accessible either by bus (169E) or by car. The washrooms are constantly cleaned with attention to cleanliness. It's also perfect for the price. An excellent place to organize birthdays or larger family celebrations. And they even thought of the children. The small playground perfectly engaged the little ones.

Really really wonderful restaurant in Hungary.
This mood and interior design typical Hungarian folk village and dish is good.
I recommand you home made lemonade.

Best goose liver I ever had, with lovely service to boot! If you're looking for a place to dine this evening, look no further. I promise you won't be disappointed :)

Value for money I would give it 6 if l could. The surroundings are superb, the furnishings are very up market, there is a great outside seating area and large open classy dining area inside. Decent wine list. Fantastic staff, not much English spoken but menu has English translation. Good quality food amazing for the price. Well worth the journey out from central Budapest. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place! Food is excellent and staff are very efficient and attentive!
The play area for children is a bonus to keep younger kids entertained.

We shared the steak tartar and had harcsa paprikas, harcsa fillet with potato salad and they were all delicious and well seasoned!

Pekary Castle runs a restaurant in it's basement and garden. Typical Hungarian country side cuisine, soo hearty with lots of meat. You must go there with an empty stomach. All you can eat Sunday lunch, for 2700huf (about 7gbp) /head, with soups, mains, sides, salads and deserts, all in.

Fantastic service and food! We are so lucky here in Pécel to have this "castle" as our local restaurant. Gigantic portions too.. very decently priced. HAJRÁ PEKÁRY-KASTÉLY ÉTTEREM..!! ✌💥😎

Az étel, kiszolgálás és a miliő remek volt. Nagyon jól laktunk.
A mosdó viszont értékelhetetlen...

Barátaimmal ebédeltünk itt, hárman, foglalás nélkül. A pincér rendesen asztalhoz vezet és végig udvarias volt. Jól főznek és hatalmas adagot tálalnak. Mi vasárnap ettünk délidőben, így nem volt forgalmas. Várni se kellett sokat. Az ételen érződik, hogy jó forrásból szerzik a hozzávalókat. Az étlap közepesen választékos, a hagyományosabb ételek sajátos stílusban készülnek. Országos szinvonalban egy korrekt, megfelelő étterem, jó ár-értékű szolgáltatással. Helyi szinten pedig ritkaság.
A borravaló etiketten lehet fejleszteni a félreérthető helyzetek elkerülése végett, de én megérdemeltnek tartottam amit adtam és végül minden tisztességesen zajlott a fizetésnél.

Családias hangulatú, kötetlen étterem. Gyerekek számára van külön kinti játszótér ahol a fölös energiát le tudják vezetni. Fedett kiülős terasz nagyobb társaságokat is elbír, kintebb a szökőkút körül 2 személyes kis asztalok mellett lehet romantikázni is. Az ételek bőséges adagokban vannak kimérve és ízletesek is. Árakat tekintve nagyon korrektnek mondható a felhozatal, a kiszolgálás gyors és udvarias. Fizetni Cafetéria és bankkártyával is lehetséges. Csak ajánlani tudom.

Sokadik alkalommal jártunk családi ebéden az étteremben. Eddig is maximálisan elégedettek voltunk a személyzettel, az ételek minőségével és mennyiségével, a hangulattal, a mai nap mégis felülmúlta az összes eddigit. Köszönhetően Zoltánnak, aki vidám, kedves, végtelenül figyelmes és tisztelettudò hozzáàllàsàval megfűszerezte az ott töltött òràkat. Köszönjük szépen!
