Lázár Lovaspark

Fantastic food and drink. I was a little sceptical about visiting Lázár thinking I might find it boring. But it was a fantastic visit. The food & drink 🍸 were excellent. The carriage drive through the forest was great! to top that the horse show was super exciting!
Believe me, I am not a horse person, but thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
The Lázár brothers have created an exciting and enjoyable event.

We had a great day out to explore the grounds and watch the horse show at the famous Lázár Lovaspark. Guests were greeted with free drinks and Hungarian scones, and we were taken around on a horse cart at the , which was fun. Highly recommended touristic attraction, that is about an hour from Budapest.

Wonderful experience! As an avid equestrian it's always exciting to learn about different horse cultures. Hungary's "cowboy" culture is one of the oldest and most fascinating! The show was presented in Hungarian and German but they provided an interpreter to explain everything in English. Staff was so friendly and helpful and the facilities are spotless. Beautiful healthy horses too!

Great place, great view, great food.

Joyous music played in the fantastic park with a relaxed atmosphere. Stimulating horse show and horse drawn carriage experience gave us a wondrous evening and refreshed our tired brains. The chilly yet warm weather was us plus to our extraordinary experience!

Was here on a company event... this the review is likely not fully relevant if you are visiting as a tourist. The location is very well maintained. Staff seemed helpful. The food was reasonably good, as you would expect when 500 people are being served, it was not a "Michelin star" experience.

The horses and skills of the riders were incredible. The food and wine was abundant and delicious. The music was festive. Most important, the people were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Budapest. We will return. Thank you for a memorable evening!

It's a very beautiful place with a real atmosphere. The horses and other animals are well kept, the staff is nice. I recommend it with children as well.

Really worth a visit !
ARES, the pensioner association of the European Space Agency, took the oppoertunity to visit Lázár Lovaspark during their 2023 General Assembly in Budapest. Some of us went there with little expectations, but like almost everybody they have been convinced by the program: Recepetion with wine, lemonade and Palinka, horse carriage tour thru the forest, look and feel the animals, visit of the nice museum teaching history and victories of horse carriage rides. A very delicious 3 course lunch with gypsy music and dancers made this an event we shall always keep in good memory.

This was a side trip on my Viking cruise to see the Hungarian horsemen of long ago. Very good show. If you are ever in Budapest you should take the tour.
