Absolutely the best meals we had in Hungary. After our first meal, we returned two more times because we really wanted to experience the whole menu. The food is seasonal and they are only choosing the freshest ingredients. You can taste the love and thought that goes into each dish. You know that you are eating foods of Hungary, but elevated to an exceptional level. And, then there are the wines! Beautiful pairings are matched with each dish. The owners are just lovely and want their costumers to feel welcome. A must visit if you are traveling in this region.

The food is amazing, made with fresh ingredientes, which is why the menu is changed every week. The lamb was one of the best things we ever tasted. The staff is friendly and helpful, everyone speaks English very well. 10/10 experience, definitely worth the visit.

Tiny place, but a real treasure! Friendly and welcoming owners, great variety of wines (apart from their own winery) and delicious food! We were told that the menu changes every few weeks, but if you have the chance, try the Emu Pâté, the Pork knuckle and cheese cake!

The communication to understand offer and booking was very good. The food was absolutely delicious, big portions. The staff was very polite, excellent English and great presentation of wines. The Wines are great, good selection of tasting and some special methods and yeasts are used. Mid price for food, some wines are accessible others more expensive. Great place and accessible for smaller numbers, convenient to combine dinner with tasting!

Gret dishes, great wines. Kitchen is outstanding, the service is kind, but needs improvement. Splitting the bills was difficult (bad invoicing system), and you got your soup earlier than your first glass of wine. Overall great experience, but service needs to be more professional.

Amazing! On par with Michelin bib level restaurants in terms of food, wine and service. Their menu is short but honest with local and seasonal foods. Prices are great, especially for the quality. Absolutely worth to visit, but definitely book a table because this is a family business so occasionally they take days off and can be fully booked.

Visiting this restaurant was really good experience. Very good wines, excellent gastronomy, friendly owner and staff also. Fully recommend to visit.

The best place in the Tokaj region. Forget about Michelin stars, and go for the real ones, likes Kardos Bistro. Highly recommended

They were fully booked but Gabor made a table for my friend and myself. Food was amazing, really fast and kind service. A gem in the Tokaj region!

The food and the wines are great, the service and the hospitality is really good. I think they serve the best food in Mád. If you are around, this place is worth visiting for sure.

Fantastic wines from top Grand Cru parcels (eg. Betsek). Different vintages by the glass. Delicious food and most importantly passionate owners.

Cozy, intimate place in the middle of the Tokaj wine region. Brilliant food with good service and portions are absolutely satisfying too! Make sure to get a booking in way in advance though as the place is not massive and you have to get lucky to find a table at short notice.

The excellent winery with the long tradition in the area and an excellent gourmet restaurant in one place - what can be better! We had a delightful evening with the owner Gabor who comes from a family of the winemakers, has tremendous knowledge and passion for Tokaj region and makes phenomenal wines. The food in the bistro is outstanding as well. eMail in advance for weekday visits - you are in for a very special treat.

we've had some great gastro experiences in and around Mád, but this so far has been the best!! highly recommended
