I’m writing here to say thank you to the owner of this restaurant!
That was a second day of the War in Ukraine!
My family and I were escaping thought all the Europe with no sense what to do. We’ve been lucky to met this guy on the street, he realized that we are from Ukraine from our car plates and welcomed us to have a lunch at his restaurant❤

Nice and pleasant place with mostly traditional, decent meals.
I chose the harcsapaprikas with galuska, the fish was okay , the galuska with juhtúró, bacon and fresh dill was unbelievable.

You MUST eat here! The restaurant is a bit hidden away from the ones you can walk by in the city center, but it is really good.

The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are huge (we basically took back home half of the order) and the staff is really nice.

They do have a daily menu which I suspect is just as good, but the food on the regular menu is the real treat. Trust me - go eat there, you won't regret it.

Big portions and tasty food. The waiter speaks English fluently and is very polite, my only regret was that I did not have Forints to leave a tip (will do next time). Very close (walking distance) from the Thermal baths or the city center. The courtyard is very relaxed and chill, full of plants and a retro vibe.

Didn't stay there, been twice to the restaurant for dinner. Very satisfying.

Onion soup is one of the best dishes I have had in my life.
Make sure you have some cash for tips because, unfortunately, they don't have the option to include this on the final check if you're paying by card

Best place to eat in Mako. They have traditional food but also pizza, burgers and loads of variety. Stuff it's friendly and the food portions are big and tasty. Go and try it.

Place was absolutely surprising. The restaurant is a little bit hide it from the outside but I think it's different at the summer. Food was amazing.. I had Makói onions soup with amazing fresh and warm bread. My second course was a nice double cheese hamburger with some amazing chips. Waiter and waitress were nice, efficient and polite. They even tried to get us a famous "makói" onions :)
I can recommend this place warmly for everyone!

A wonderful experience here. Best cream soup in town. Sanyi is a very pleasant waiter, he helped us a lot and he knows english!

Amazing traditional Hungarian food, with huge portions and kind service. I ate here the best cheese cream soup with onion.

Absolutely delicious food, nice people and the portions are very big! We ate here two times and both of them were wonderful experience! Definitely recommend! There is also billiard table, we had a lot of fun:) Thank you!

Good food, staff served promptly, very beautiful place. Staff didn't know romanian, but english was decent and they had a menu in english as well. Open on Easter date, had a good time there enjoying a very well made dish. 5 stars, will visit again if I am located in Mako.

Very tasty food. Intimate location. They offer menus in Romanian and English. The staff speak english pretty good and they are very kind. Overall a perfect night.
