Butterfly Diving Croatia

I had never dived before and decided to give it a try, since Butterfly Diving was next to the apartment I was staying in.

The staff was very friendly and chill, and we had a lot of fun.

They provided me with a lot of insightful and detailed instructions on how to handle certain situations under water. We also did some basic exercises in shallow waters to get comfy with the equipment.

At first, I had some struggle with air pressure and keeping my balance, but the instructor was very patient and helpful.

Once I got the drill and we started diving, it was a fantastic experience, seeing fish swimming literally in front of my face.

Great day out today with Butterfly Diving. No diving for us today but we went out on a day boat as a family snorkelling. Great fun and a really enjoyable day. Moored up in a bay and off a wall, divers were in first and we followed after. Very simple. Kids loved it, very family friendly and can’t recommend enough if you want to do something other than sit on the beach. Fox looked after us all and made us feel very welcome.

It‘s been a fantastic experience. As a starter with lots of fear and resistance a felt safe and secure at all times. The team provided very good guidance for each individual.
We received a video and personal introduction into diving technique and diving safety. After that we put the equipment on and took a short walk to the beach.
Diving alongside to the beachside at 5m depth was incredible. Each student had a personal diving instructor who took best care. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, however, professional at all times.

I am very happy that I decided to do my first diving certification at this school. With each day of the course, my smile walking down the boardwalk to the Butterfly Diving in the morning was getting wider and wider. My teacher was Julia, who with her professionalism and experience helped me overcome my fear of diving. If one ends up on a course with Julia, he can consider himself very lucky :-)
Also a big thank you to Markus and Valeska for their priceless advices and individual approach during the exercises.
The diving course at this school was a great adventure and a cool alternative to lying on the beach.

With my two youngest daughters, we had wonderful week passing CMAS* license. Thanks to instructor Julia for her three assets: rigour (guiding us through theory and all practical exercises), patience (always answering to our questions) and her enthusiasm (continuously celebrating the progress that we made). It was so nice to do this as family. Also thanks to Markus and Butterfly team.

I have just finished a 1* level course with Julia, it was amazing! She is a very good teacher, taking care of everyone and very safe. My first night dive will remain in my memory for a long time! Thanks again for everything Julia and the butterfly diving team 😉 And Lyla !

Love diving with Butterfly, all nice staff and beautiful dive sites along the Makarska riviera in Dalmatia!

My daughter (12) was doing her Junior Open Water Diver certification with Julia and she loved it! Julia gave lot of attention and clear explanation of theory and was patient with all practical exercises and really inspired confidence in diving! Really recommend her if you or your kid wants to start diving!

I can only recommend them. I did not dive in almost two years, so I was pretty nervous. I did with Valeska the remember course, and not only I felt super relaxed and safe, I also enjoyed to dive with such a kind and professional instructor and human. Two days afterwards I did a dive from boat, and this time I had the great opportunity of diving with Julia and Fox. I can only say that, again, it is awesome how professional, empathic and supporting they are, not leaving aside the sweet and warm way they have of being. It was a pleasure guys! 🫶🏽

The dive went smoothly even though it was a few years back. Also my buoyancy changed quite a bit, but I got the space and time needed to adjust and felt completely safe during the two dives.

Hopefully we'll be able to come back again soon.

We booked a sailing trip with Sebastian and it was amazing. We had no experience sailing and he explained many interesting concepts to us and gave us tips. He is an seasoned skipper with over 18 years of experience.

We had a very pleasant sailing experience with winds around 15 knots. My girlfriend loved the trip as well.

We would definitely recommend butterfly diving croatia and would love to go sailing sometime again in the future.

I've done an open water diver course and a few more dives with guys and I have to say that was the best diving center I've ever been to. They are extremely well-skilled divers with a lot of experience and just an amazing approach to everyone. When going underwater with them you can be sure that you're 100% safe and you definitely gonna enjoy it.

Great place, great place, great prices and atmosphere. I could go on and on about how wonderful the place is and the people here are, but in short - if you want to try diving or go on diving tours, I can highly recommend coming here. Thanks to all. :)

I had the pleasure to make my OWD diving license at the butterfly diving school. I couldn’t have used my time better. Super friendly staff, top equipment and I felt welcome at all times. Valeska and Daniel explained both theory and practice perfectly to me in just four short days and it wasn't boring once. I had so much fun that I booked a diving trip with the boat after my course and did not regret it. Great diving school, great diving instructors. I can only recommend!

Great diving center. Very professional. We had a great day diving with them. We did two boat dives, one to 37m and the second to 21m. We saw a variety of fish and two lobsters. We did the dives on nitrox. Awesome. I would like to come back.
