Restaurant Melon

We went there 3 times in one week. It was also recommended from our host.

The food was very nice - for me all the fish and sea food did it!

Try local dishes and the house wine is very good too! Especially for 10€ per Liter :)

This place is amazing, it deserves five stars in all categories. Don’t be fooled that this is just a pizza house because the steaks and fish menu are delicious! Be sure to order the sweets! Most of all the service is great, smilling faces, fast and very kind! Ten stars for the staff!

Giovanni is the nicest waiter I’ve ever had. He works with so much passion and brings a lot of joy to the table. Food was very delicous too and the restaurant has a nice ambience and variety of food. If I visit croatia again I know where to go.🤌😃

Nicest and most genuine service I've had all trip. Food was great, several options for kids and great options for the parents, too. They even have gluten free pizza. Both "standard" and gluten free pizza were very good. There is a small playground, so kids are kept busy and the patio is lovely

A fine restaurant in Istria offering traditional meals and also some more "modern" food. Excellent dishes with truffles or grilled meat are served by a.highly.professional personnel.
Credit cards accepted, parking in front of the restaurant, worth visiting!
Prices: cheap.
Suitable for families or a single person.

It is a rarity to eat at a restaurant where the food is so good and the atmosphere is wonderful, the waiter so polite... and then you use the restroom and honestly wish you could move in and live there 😁😁😁 5 stars earned hands down!

I visited Umag five years ago on holidays and had dinner at Restaurant Melon.
This summer holiday I had to go back because the food was to die for, with the smell of truffle oil in the air.
The ravioli quatro formagi made my heart smile. It was so delicious!
The family run Restaurant was warm and inviting. It is a must when visiting the romantic town of Umag.

One of the best pizzas l ate .. Also fantastic fit salad with sea food. Kind staff and nice atmosphere.
