Pirati Restaurant

This dinner was amazing. The host was so sweet and honest. I asked about the grills' dream, and he told me it would take at least 45 minutes and advised me to take a starter at first. I chose a chicken salad and it was delicious.
When I go back to Croatia, I will definitely go back to this restaurant.

5 stars! If you look around the area, this is by far the best restaurant! The waiters speak several languages (German, English, Croatian). Breathtaking view of the sea, large menu, not overly expensive and most importantly, the food was so delicious that it's impossible to put it into words! We will be back!

A nice restaurant on the waterfront with a slight but not disturbing pirate theme. This is a great place for families or groups, everybody will find something they will enjoy. The fish is fresh and perfectly grilled. All the sides were tasty and the person attending to our table was very nice and made sure we had a great evening. We will definitely be coming back here

This place is like a heaven for me. They are friendy and when you just taste the food.. my holly ... like food of Gods. There is no human word on any language to describe the taste of food here. I ordered 2 plates :)

The fish was fantastic! The squid was an interesting surprise! We really enjoyed the service! Our fish was even properly deboned from our wonderful server! The ambient was in keeping with the Pirate theme! Thumbs up!

This was one of the best parts of our trip. Waitstaff were incredibly welcoming, multilingual, and fun!!! Great selection of seafood, VERY well cooked. Great value, and beautiful views. Would definitely return. Also, the beer mugs?!?!

Not much to say other than this was our best experience so far on this side of Croatia. 👌 Very good service, quality and nice prepared plates, and simply a nice place to sit next to the water with fairer prices than the rest around the area. You can not ask for more. I went for the best reviewed restaurant of this street and am happy I did. If we can repeat before we leave, we surely will. 👍

Wonderful restaurant in the very heart of Umag. A bit pricey but still about the norm in the historical center. Beautiful terrace by the sea and an amazing service by Predrag 💯. We really enjoyed the food - large servings, amazing taste and quality. You really get the value from your money here, unlike elsewhere.
One thing that could be improved were the pancakes. They could have been served with better whipped cream and perhaps some fruits or ice-cream - for the price.
But overall, totally recommend!

Perfect night! Dinner on the water and great food. We had the mixed shellfish and mixed meat platter. The house red wine was a perfect complement to the dinner. Food was was prepared perfectly.

Pretty good! Mussels were oily instead some buttery wine sauce, but actually it was a nice contrast to the lemony fish/ fresh flavors of the other items. Greens with potatoes were delicious too!
Beer comes inside a giant skull mug. 👍🏻

The mixed seafood platter, white wine and beer were delicious. Definitely worth going to Pirati.

Really nice place by the sea, we were served by Matilda who was very friendly and caring. We had Pizza Pirati and Pizza Tuna which both were excellent. We recommend this place and would come back to Umag just for having a pizza for dinner!

A great but hidden restaurant in the city of Umag , the staff were very welcoming and nice , the food was amazing , a bit more on the pricey side but totally worth it.

Had a wonderful lunch here. The service was great and the fresh fish was stellar. I really appreciated the server’s patience with our children and how he helped me pick the fish. We’ll be coming back again for sure.

Also a tip to take a peak at the back alleyway behind the restaurant which is quite picturesque.

Pirati is one of the several restaurants with beautiful terraces on the sea in the historic section of Umag, they all assertively advertise their offer as you walk in front of them, as is the case in many tourist areas. We had already selected Pirates based on reviews, and were not disappointed. The food was all excellent: we shared some local pasta called fuzi with squid, shrimp and truffles, then had grilled tuna and grilled calamari. The staff was cordial and efficient, and the ambiance was pleasant and informal. The bill for the two of us was €82. We will go back.

I don’t often write a review unless something really impresses me so here we are.

The trifles pasta was amazing! We tried a few in different places but this one definitely stands out as well as the apple strudel with cheese.

Highly recommended!

during our stay we ate 3 times at Pirati, the meat is very good; the fish and very good! the service and great, and what about the boss, ADORABLE. great atmosphere and a great view of the sea! We will come back
