Bukaleta

Pizzas were absolutely fantastic, we ordered 2 pizzas, one mixed (Bukaleta and truffles) and Frutti di mare (seafood) and everything was sooo tasty. Pizzas were done in the wood oven, which made the dough very tasty and crispy. You will not regret ordering pizzas from Bukaleta.

A menu in multiple languages with some traditional food of the region.
Side dishes are extra, but you get a good amount of food for your money.
But, it's important to point out that there are only a few choices for vegetarians.
Great atmosphere and table setup.
Incredibly friendly staff that are able to communicate with you in multiple languages.

There's a big parking space right in front of the restaurant.

I visited this restaurant with my family during our Croatia trip. We had a really good time, the food was great, also the service was 5/5. We also tried a few restaurants in Umag, but it’s surely the best, that’s why we came back a few more times. And also a big thanks to Matej, he was the nicest waiter. Pretty nice place. Friendly staff und delicious meals. I ordered the stuffed pork filet and the pigling and it tastes delicious!! Abolsutely recommended!! The grill was directly in front if our table.

Very friendly service. We ordered many different things, and every single one of the dishes tasted delicious. The portions are just the right size, everything was fresh and carefully prepared. Definetly coming back soon.

Professional hospitality with amazing food and drinks not expensive and dog friendly restaurant definitely place to visit

AMAZING! Horan was the best server we've had in all of Croatia. He went out of his way to recommend dishes, make sure the children were happy and full, he wrote a list of his favorite Croatian wines, and was just all a joy to be around. The restaurant didn't stop at great service though. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the steak and mushrooms, the fish plate (WOW), the fresh pasta with olive oil from the family farm down the road and mmm mmm! The french fries were even super crunchy and wonderful. To end, we had the tiramasu and it was perfect, light and left us wanting another serving. 11/10! Go to Bukaleta! - Rorex family (USA)

Great stuff and food! Love fish and blitva, pizzas are also great and mixed meat. If I will be around here I will be back.
