Maistra Select Amarin Resort

We came here last summer for the first time- and we just booked our summer 2024! We loved everything- food, staff, accommodation (apartment for the family of 5), pool, beach, kids activities…
The best perk that they offer are golf carts that can drive the older people or younger kids to the restaurant, beach or the pool. (You can tip the drivers couple of euros.)
One con is that the toddler’s pool is very cold. But it doesn’t seem to bother the kids…
I wholeheartedly recommend this for families with kids and older grandparents!

I reviewed the hotel so not sure how reviewing the resort is different.
This place is great. Really great. If you have children you should really consider going here. So good. The food is good. The only thing I would change is adding some water stations around resort (save going to the bar). We booked late and only had a standard room available. This was a nice room and the beds were very good. No idea how the fancier rooms were. Go enjoy it

Everything was really nice, clean cosy accommodation, beautiful resort, close to the beach, lots of green spaces and shady areas. The staff were very customer friendly and professional. Lots of activities on offer, pools abs beaches were superb. Also there was a very high quality evening program every day. We just had a great time and came back from our holiday recharged and relaxed

Wonderful breakfast (great view towards the ocean), very nice and helpful staff, nice apartments/houses - and we three ladies in our 60s enjoyed being picked up by men in little golfcars, asking if we wanted a lift through the property :-) Also VERY good with the possibily to be able to sail back and forth to Rovinj.

Amazing family hotel. Unbelievable food, great atmosphere and lots of entertainment for kids in all ages. Staff very friendly. Outside area stunning! Super recommended.

We had great holidays there with friends and family. Although there were many guests, the islands as well as the hotel itself were big enough that it never felt overcrowded there. The prices are quite fair and the rooms are minimalistic but good enough and clean.

Our highlights were the great variety of bars and restaurants with slightly different styles, the natural ambient in the small forrests and on the beaches and the very kind staff 👍

As we were there on a business trip, only a little time was available for entertainment. We loved the place, admired the neighbourhood, and definitely would like to return even with a wider family.

We spent two holidays in this beautiful place. Friendly service, tasty breakfasts and dinners, delicious pizza at the pool bar! an ideal place to relax with the family or with a dog. Beach by the facility. The old town is quite far away, but you can drive a car or take a water taxi. I received a birthday gift from the staff, and on the occasion of our wedding at the church of St. Eufemi found champagne, fruit and a beautiful letter with wishes in the room. We will come back to you! :)

Great family friendly resort with lots of activities for the whole family. Location was great, restaurants are lovely. We had a lovely time there with our friends and family 💗

The crew is great .
The only thing we did not like was the buffet diner. If there was an ala carte diner then it was absolute faboulus. We will come back for sure.

Absolutely a nice resort near the beautiful town Rovinj. Good local restaurants close to the resort. Nice beaches for family and even FKK

One of the best hotels in the region if you are going on vacation with the kids. Excelent architecture, landscape, service and the food. If only there where one sandy beach...

Amazing experience for kids. Not a single dull moment for them, playgrounds and pools inside and out, activities all day for every age group from 10 to 21h. Very smart kids zone (divided into age groups) they can't leave unless you pick them up, they call you when they want to leave. There is a game room (Playstation etc), theatre, gym, even the walls are games. Great all-in buffet. One adult bar open till 23h.

I am more than satisfied with my stay at Amarin. I stayed for three nights and had all meals included. The food is very good.

The place itself is like a small town, it has streets and a lot of little houses. There are two types of houses, but since I was a part of a larger group I visited both types, and both are very nice.

The resort is 5 km away from the city, so it takes you around 50 or so minutes on foot, but there's a boat that connects the resort with the city center, it only takes 10 minutes, and one way ticket costs 40 kuna. But you can also rent a bycicle.

The beach looks really, really nice, I just wish the weather at the beginning of May was a bit nicer so that I could have actually take a swim.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was a wonderful experience and we would love to come back.

This place has been strongly recommended for vacations! We have been here 8years ago, and again in 2022 July, we have seen that many things even upgraded since! What exactly? Although arrived a bit earlier, The welcome was excellent, reception was fast (fast checkin option- online!!) We have been upgraded to Premium apartman, we really loved that, parking slots are more then before, cleaning everywhere, apartman as well, with all stuff you need for relaxing, or cooking somthing home style ;) I worried about beds- no issue better then home ;) Asked for a coffee machine, as we did not bring, no problem! Cleaning staff: flexible, solution oriented, quick, they asked what we would need! Big red point! Beach was clean, full with sun beds, baby pool, animation! We did not use cathering so I do not know about food or quality. Only recommendation is about climate if apartmans- too cold when you are out set by 21^! And ther was no mosquito net on windows! Staff was very kind overall, so we have discussed we felt being taken care for a 9days! Thanks Amarin, we will come back ;)
