Scuba restaurant

If you’re looking for a local feel, fresh sea food dining and a “sit and eat” situation, Scuba is great. Homey atmosphere, adequate menu (as per what is fresh and in season) and really large portions. I’m definitely used to eating less but flavors felt very homemade like, so we took a bag with us.

The owner and the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we came in.
I haven’t seen the wine list but was offered a glass of house white (in different company would have asked for the list to accompany the meal).

They did let my little niece “help” with the service and earn her very first tip and I really wanted her to enjoy!

Really liked this restaurant. The food is prepared like at home. They are famous for their octopus which was great, but I also enjoyed the tuna tartar and mixed clams. The cake was amazing as well! Nice and easygoing staff. They don't take the reservations, but we got the table straight away.

This place has excellent seafood pasta. I am allergic to shrimp and they went out of their way to make me a pasta without the shrimp. One that is different than what they usually have. Great place for a nice dinner

What to say one of the best restaurant in Rovinj so far. Excellent choices of food, great taste, fantastic service and really cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Warmly recommended, you don't be disappointed.
PS. Octopus with vegetables was so tender, can be cutted with a spoon.
Spaghetti allo scoglio was rich of fresh seafood. 👌👍👍👍👍👍

We really enjoyed the food - the Ravioli filled with clam and shrimp with truffle was delicious. The spaghetti (it was tagliatelle on this day, but the waiter told us as we ordered) was filled with seafood (not just some pieces) - it was really good! Prices are reasonable, staff is super friendly! I would recommend to make a reservation

Spent a few hours in Rovinj by the water and ate here for lunch. Not right on the water but the views are there and the food is the best here. Had some great wines, tuna carpaccio, mixed shells and the octopus for two. Way too much food for two people but it was so good!

We have tried the Fish plate for 2 and it was fresh and delicious. The house wine was good as well and at the end we have received from the house complimentary rakija☺

Amazing dinner in great atmosphere. My family and me had tuna pate and anchovies for starters and fish soup which was amazing with fresh fish. For the main course we had pasta frutti di mare and - it was amazing. It was really rich with seafood, pasta and the sauce were the best we ever had. Three of us couldn’t eat everything and it was a dish for two.
Atmosphere and the personnel were very friendly and it was the best dinner and experience we had on our trip. Highly recommend and we will certainly come again.

This has to be my best meal in Rovinj this year. The menu is not big and it might be a problem if dinning alone as a lot of the dishes are for two people. But the truffle pasta and the spaghetti allo scoglio were superb and not as expensive as the ones we've had in other places! Always busy so try to book or prepare to queue.

Being of Adriatic background and impressed eating at a restaurant is pretty rare ... I walked by this place last night and something said to me , go eat there .. I'm going ecstatic that I did !! I had the most fabulous octopus that I've ever had in my life ... oven broiled with vegetable accoutrements , the most tender , succulent octopus you could ever imagine ... very warm friendly Courteous service ...

Located right at the promenade, Scuba offered a great selection of Fish & Seafood. Service was fast but friendly and the food was delicious.

This restaurant was very good. The waiter was super friendly with recommendations for the entree and wine. We had the tuna tartare and octopus salad as entree and they were absolutely delicious. We shared a fish platter and it had the best grilled calamari I've ever had.

I watched allot of cooking shows and the chef's always said octopus and squid are very tender when cooked properly. This restaurant cooked it properly and it was super tender. I would highly recommend this place.

I can say only one thing, this is one of the best restaurant in ROVINJ where I was! Octopus with potatoes and spaghetti with a seafood was absolutely delicious! Service and atmosphere was perfect! If you are in Rovinj, you must visit this restaurant at least once 👌🏼👍🏼

I stayed in Rovinj for 5 days and Scuba was my place to dine. In my search for a good place to eat I tried a few places in the old town. However, these were the deal-makers for me. 1. It started with Tadija who owns the restaurant. He was entertaining, communicable and accommodating. 2. The restaurant had a great chef. All meals were immaculately prepared. 3. The menu fit on one page which is the sign of a good restaurant. The menu had all the staples of the local cuisine so that you could cover all bases. 4. The prices were inline with the average for Rovinj. I found them to be reasonable.

I dined at the restaurant during the day because in the evening the place was mobbed. Tadija let me shave my own truffle which I have bought in Livade. The restaurant also treated guests with a complimentary coffee.

In conclusion, if you can get in and it's in your budget, dine at Scuba.

Here was the best food I had in Rovinj. We had the octopus and the fish plate for 2 and it was delicious. The prices are fair and the serving was lovely.

Very nice restaurant with friendly an quick service. Food was delicious as well, I ate seafood risotto and tunasalad.
