Excellent food. Enormous portions which they are happy to box up for you. Great value for money. Special shout out to our waitress who was very friendly and attentive, a real credit. Highly recommended, but do book as gets very busy after 7pm!

It's a perfect place if you want to find very tasty food. We took famous Rafaelo plate. Taste of beef, pork, sauce, potatoes and grilled vegetables is really perfect. Inside restaurant has very interesting style in local traditions. The waiters are very polite and friendly. I recommend this place to visit and get good emotions.

Absolutely amazing food for good prices. Big meat platter options is our favorite. Also their dessert was delicious. Make sure to call and book a reservation. They fill up fast every night

It was a pretty nice meal, the restaurant was open till midnight, we got easily a table but got so busy so it worth to call and make a reservation. We were not that late there. A menu with a lot of options, definitely, who is in the area worth giving it a try. We order a plate to share that I would say is perfectly OK for 3 persons worth a try, a lot of french fries, nice grilled veggies, too much mushrooms sauce but nice grilled meet definitely

Been to this place already twice on business trips. Delicious food in big portions for a great price. the staff is polite, relaxed, well mannered and helpful. the steak was done almost to perfection, and the chicken in mushroom sauce was blissfull. If you ar3 in Zadar and eant to get full on good food, Don't miss out on this place.

The best restaurant in Zadar for those who want to eat a good meal and are not looking for fancy nonsense portions where you spend a fortune and leave hungry.
Be sure to order one of their soups (specially the fish one). One portion can feed 3 hungry people. And the same goes for their grill plates. Well worth it!

Best food in town! If you can get a place of course, otherwise, take away is also an option. Fantastic portions and value for the price, maybe a bit more meat options than veggie, but truly a place I love and return to regularly when in Zadar!

What a grill house! The food is amazing and I just couldn't believe how large the portions were. We sat in candle light, four of us with drinks, laughter and beautiful surroundings. I couldn't believe the end bill...

Amazing place. The staff was kind, the food utterly delicious, the wine tasted great and the quantity was also very generous. We took the plate of mix of meats which is for one person, but we couldn't finish it... The staff offered to pack the rest as takeaway.
Also, the scenery is nice, with the garden view and the large terrace and the view on the port, boats and see. Strangely, there is no fish on the menu.

Meat plate for 25 EUR. We ate it in 3 people (2 women and 1 man), everyone was full. Tasty, fresh meat, very good fries. I recommend this place

Fantastic food! Plate Rafaelo is absolutely stunning! House wine is excellent quality and good price. If you come to Zadar and don't try this restaurant you should be denied entering Zadar again! Ah, toilet is terrible, needs some tending.

Generous portions and really good food.
We enjoyed several meals during our stay.
Location : great, overseeing the small sail Harbour and 5 min away from the nearest beach.

Food: classic Croatian dishes that are found everywhere. I liked the taste a lot and as mentioned generous portion.

Price: I would say same as everywhere. Family of 3 eat and drink around 280-320 KN.

Staff was kind

Amazing. Super polite staff, huge servings, but that doesn't mean at all they are of worse quantity, on the contrary, the food is delicious. One of the best restaurants we have eaten in here in the region. The meat was perfectly grilled, so were the vegetables.
The prices are really okay for the amount of food and the quality you're getting here.
The wine menu is also good. What you cannot eat, the staff offers automatically to pack for you as takeaway, which is awesome.
The sum up, one of my best restaurant experiences so far in the region. And of course, a big plus for card payment possibility, not to be taken for granted here and to be praised :)

Kiwi fruit growing above the outdoor seating area, amazing view of the sea and marina, knowledgable and professional waiters, abundant offer of foods, and above all - an excellent value for money (we ate grilled meat of all sorts with French fries - nothing too fancy, but really tasty!). Would (and will) visit next time when I visit.

I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves grilled meat. You can find here great, tasty food, beautiful atmosphere! Just as we've already learned, you can't just sit down without a reservation as there is always full in this restaurant. Many thanks to the wonderful ginger waitress who helped us find a free table and for her amazing service! We had our small daughter with us and we really appreciate it!

Excellent service and food. My wife and I had meat plate for two and we couldn't eat it all. Prices are just fine. Service was great.
Last year this restaurant was by the sea and the view was great but back then the terrace was at the sun so it was quite hot. Now, at the new location the terrace is out of the sun so it's much better.
Update September 2023: still great.

We took the cheapest meat platter, it was delicious, served with aivar, french fries, and onions. The only weak side was the chicken, which was ok. I was dining with my partner, the platter was far too big for us, I'd recommend it for 3-4 people. I can wholeheartedly recommend the salad with cheese as an excellent side dish.

Service was a bit lackluster. Our waiter was completely uninterested in us.

As feedback for the restaurant, I'd recommend changing the cheapest platter to be a bit smaller, so it could serve 2 People.
