Konoba Daniela is a gastronomic gem hidden away from the center of Poreč in the small village of Veleniki. The road to the restaurant itself, once it turns off the main road, seems like you've lost your way, but be patient; it's worth it! A large parking lot is in front of the restaurant, and you need a reservation for this place (sometimes several days in advance).
The staff is amicable and smiling, the garden is charming, and the food is exceptional. Of course, we tried the tartar because how can you come here and not try the dish that is being prepared in front of you and that everyone is talking about? After lunch, we ate Daniela pancakes and received homemade strudles on the house, which, of course, we did not refuse.
Make sure you don't miss a visit to this great restaurant if you're in the area!

Very pleasant ambiance and delicious food. Everything we tried was tasty. The star, of course, is the beef tartare, prepared right at the table. I would also highlight the Istrian fuži with black truffles, which were equally delightful. We really appreciated that none of the dishes were oversalted, which is often a problem in places trying to mask mediocre ingredient quality. The prices were also reasonable, and the staff was friendly, making the experience excellent.

It was simply delicious! Beyond our expectations. All good - place, food and people. A place to be!

The best restaurant nearby Poreč. If you be in this part of Istria, you have to try this Konoba. One of the most popular dish, beef tatar is amazing! Other super delicious too.

The best beef tatar ever! Food is delicious and tasty, the personnel are very kind, atmosphere is homie. We've been going back again and agin for years. Fish dishes are as great as the meat ones. Also, they surprised me with a very delicious gluten free pistachio cake 🥰
And they are open through all the year. Pay them a visit and thank me later :)

They say go eat where the locals go. Probably the best tartar in the world, which they make in front of you. Any dish you order is superb. The professional staff will recommend excellent dishes. Konoba Daniela is one of the best restaurants in Istria.

Really delicious food with great service and a really rustic, true Istrian atmosphere. The food is consistently great here with really fresh seafood, house made pastas, and authentic Istrian dishes. This was my fourth time eating here. Good sized portions and reasonable prices. Among the best restaurants in Istria! Highly recommended. Definitely a good idea to make a reservation, especially on weekends!

Every visit to Konoba Danijela leaves me astounded. No matter the dish, from pasta to steak to seafood, you're in for a culinary treat. The pasta is al dente perfection, the steaks are charred beautifully, and the seafood, bursting with freshness, is complemented by the perfect ingredients.

A special mention must be made for their tartar beef - simply the best I've ever had. Accompany your meal with their exquisite local wine and finish with their delightful dessert and terranino. The entire dining experience is heightened by the impeccable service - friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm.

The ambiance further enhances the dining experience. With its prime location, the restaurant is easily accessible, boasting easy parking. Once inside, the soulful strains of classic rock create an atmosphere that's both energetic and comforting.

Even with the inevitable seasonal price adjustments, the value for money remains excellent. Given the quality of food and overall experience, it's a steal.

To put it succinctly, Konoba Danijela is perfection in every sense. If you haven't been, make it a priority. You won't be disappointed.

If you are a fan of Tartar Steak, this is probably one of the best places in the world to enjoy it :) This family held restaraunt is an amazing place for various tastes, from sea food to pork ribs, wine and sweets. Be sure to visit this beautiful place!

A must for all meat lovers! The "Beefsteak Daniela" with red wine sauce is to die for and the beefsteak tartar is being prepared right in front of you - what a treat! The location is beautiful and the service very friendly and fast😊

This is a restaurant you really don’t want to miss. It’s located 10min drive from the Porec center and they will offer one of the best meals you have ever tasted. Their service is outstanding and food is superb. The offer is huge and the hardest thing is to choose what to eat. You have to try Fuži with Trouffles which is a classic Istrian meal but also ehat ever else you choose you will not miss out. Parking is also free and available, the only thing is that internet connection doesn’t work well at the restauran (in my case) but in this case this is a PLUS. You should spent as much time enjoying the coazy atmosphere and great food and not typing and scrolling on your phone. HUGE recommendation to everyone!

What should I say... the restaurant was recommended to us by friends because of the famous Tartar there and it was really, really good!! Hand made at the table, you can taste the Tartar if it fits your taste and then have fun! Together with toasted bread with butter it is all you need! Except a second Tartar. And third😂 The meat was also very good, but especially 👍: The potatoes! Try it, you won’t regret it!

Always love to come back to Konoba Daniela. My favorite dish there is the beef tartar that they make infront of you and they season it to your taste.. Fresh food, fast and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.
P.S. this place is extremely busy especially in the summer time so call to make reservation.

I am very glad we discovered this Konoba. Food was delicious and their Beef Tartare is out of this world!

What an amazing place to stay (Villa Hizina) and to have diner or lunch! Actually does not need any promotion because it’s already very famous among the locals and tourists. You need a reservation ( in the high season) otherwise unfortunately there will be no place. Our favourites are: dishes cooked u thee de embers. Checken and veal were amazing, but also mussels. The owners of this place are lovely local family, which running the business steady for over 25 years and Daniela is very kind and lovely person together with all friendly stuff. Thank you for wonderful 3 weeks holidays and we will be back next year! The biggest compliment from very experiences travellers 😘❤😉🙏🏻

Fantastic tavern. Sometimes it's hard to find a free table. Wonderful dishes and tastes, especially tartare and beef in truffles. service at the highest level. I'll be back 😀
