This is one of the nicest location on the seaside (if you do not want to have tons of people around you). You can either sit close to the sea or on the veranda - both is recommendable. The food is very nice and fresh, a little bit high in price already ... but given the quality, service and location still OK. This is defintely a good pick for a nice evening for a decent couple dining 🥰

Simply great, old fashion konoba. Menu is not to wide in order to keep quality, so everything you order is excellent. Service is keeping the level. Prices are normal. A bit of advice if you want to go there: Check what is the time of sunset. Book table 33, 34 or some other at the waterline. You will be very pleased.

First of all absolutely beautiful view! The service was great and the meal was the best meal I've ever had! So fresh, so tasty! I highly recommend! We had a fish soup and god bruschetta to start (sorry no pic. We were too hungry) and then as a main seafood risotto and spaghetti carbonara. We had to skip the pudding since we got so full but they offered a complimentary snaps or " Digestifs" wich was really nice!

A friend recommended this place to us, and it was great. Not only did we watch a stunning sunset, but also the whole evening was wonderful. The food was tasty, I had a delicious tuna steak and the service was really friendly and taking care of us 💕

This is the perfect location for this seafood focused konoba, sat on the banks of a quiet, picturesc and sheltered Adriatic inlet with a small sleepy fishing port. This konoba gets the pick of the fresh catch as it comes off the boats and it shows with the delicious menu selection on offer. The building itself is traditional and honest with chunky timbers and white plaster with a real family feel. A walk inside reinforces this with photos of ancestors taking centre stage above the huge cosy fireplace that is clearly the centre of the konoba during cooler months. However, it was the outdoor area that we were seated on a hot Croatian summer's day. We sat at one of many huge oversized and over engineered benches made from hefty varnished logs. I have no idea how old these benches are but I'm sure they will be there for decades to come, a sense of permanence that is fitting for the konoba. But, the reason to visit is for the seafood and we were not disappointed. We ordered a seafood platter for 2 containing mussels, squid, langustines and a couple of whole grilled fish. The service was friendly and our food arrived in a short while giving us chance to enjoy the surroundings, chat and take a few beautiful photos. The seafood was clearly very fresh, caught that day, cooked simply and perfectly. If you in the area and looking for authentic and fresh Croatian seafood then I can highly recommend Al Porto Tar Vala konoba. The fish is the star of the show but a lot of credit needs to be given to the backdrop of the beautiful blue Adriatic that perfectly complements the food and drink.

Incredible staff!!! We wanted to sit at the water ( fabulous views) but they only had tables for big groups. Nevertheless, they found a solution and we actually had the best, intimate table for two at the water. The food is fantastic, especially the fritto misto. Good value a d the setting is priceless. We will certainly be back for more.
