Modern Italian restaurant close to main bus station and not far away from rhe centre of the town. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. We ate lasagna made with home-made pasta and a real Italian pizza. The staff were very friendly.

This place is simply perfect...the food and the ingredients are fresh and the best quality. After visited min. 40 countries this restaurant is definitely among the best...thanks to owner and staffs too. Must see place in Croatia 🇭🇷 👌 and the price are really friendly not a tourist trap 🙏🙏🙏

Great place right close to the city centre. In Makarska I trust this is a benchmark of Gastro excellence. Service is swift and to the point, all ordered meals are simply delicious and recommended white wine was right on the point to go with the meal. ( Zlatni Otok - Posip). The truffle pasta was superb, so was the veal steak that was done just right, and mashed potatoes and broccoli that was awesome. Overall, excellent experience all six of us had a great meal and above average service. Loved it and and would definetly go again.

One of the best pizza I’ve had outside Italy. The dough is neapolitan style, very light. I ordered no.7 which was more than enough for 1 person. The staff are professional and efficient and warm. The mojito is also good. This is a must eat at place when in Makarska! Safe to say that I liked this place A LOT, ate here on 3 separate occassions to the point the server knows my drink of choice. 😁 All the food I chose were on point! Bravo! Highly recommended.

Must go place! I just regret i didn't take a pizza there :)) Though the pasta, salad and fries with parmesan were also great.

We've been coming to Maka for the last 3 years, every time we visit we spend a few evenings at Maka and we love it. Homemade food, open kitchen, young but nice staff, cute space, prices go up, summer by summer, but it's still not too expensive.

We tried and love their pizzas, meat, homemade pasta, spring rolls, steak sandwich and more.

These are the things that would make our visits even better,

Tomatoes were tasteless and we ate them in August when you can get tasty juicy tomatoes everywhere and get them locally or grow them yourselves so this was a bit surprising since they seem to care about homemade food.

We always have to ask for olive oil or vinegar, salt, pepper, it would be nice if we didn't have to ask.

Lemon tart is too sweet and has too much whipped cream on it.

We were always wondering how come the restaurant doesn't offer desserts to find out today that they have a few of them but on a separate menu, which we never get. So, a hint to them for future guests - offer the menu!

P.s. we always have 'uštipci' with kajmak for starters and 80% of the time they are the best we both ever had. Other times they can be a bit greasy.

Still, one of the best restaurants in Makarska and a personal favorite. 😚

Must-visit gem! Their pizza (#7) was absolutely delicious – crispy crust, fresh toppings – everything you'd want. The pasta was equally amazing - I went for the one with Salsiccia and tomato sauce. As startest, we had their spring rolls and tacos, which were fantastic surprises.
The staff was welcoming, and the atmosphere felt just right. For a culinary journey with a great atmosphere, Maka is the perfect choice!

We came here for breakfast, took a croissant with nuts and a croissant with scramble eggs, mozzarella and rocket salad - everything was very good. Also fresh orange juice and cappuccino. The waiter was very nice and kind, helped us to clean the mess, cause we spilled some water. We had a table outside under the umbrella and it was beautiful with the view of the mountains.

Amazing food!!! Ordered lamb shank and it was cooked perfectly, big portion with side dish isincluded. Dog friendly is a huge plus. Service was fast and kind. Will return and recommend.

That was literally one of the best pizzas we’ve had in our lives! This means a lot as all of us are devout pizza-eaters 😂 the dough was Italian style - extra thin with thicker edges and all the flavors we picked were excellent: we had no 8, no 6, margarita and the one with hot peppers and sour cream (no idea what was the number; there are numbers in menu instead of pizza names). I totally recommend dining there!

Awesome food and great design. Clean toilet. Kind staff. Moderate prices. Parking is just in the front. Pomfrit is domestic, cut by hand. Pizzas are amazingly good and tasty!
Pumpkin soup is very delicious and they put pumpkin seeds inside.
On the mortadella pizza they put pistachio and Truffles and you can exclude mortadella for vege option.
Espresso is perfect, must say.

We visited the restaurant in the evening and it was a very pleasant experience. Beautiful environment both outside and inside. We ordered aperlo which was quite good and then pizza and pasta carbonara. The pizza was absolutely excellent, the dough and the sauce really well seasoned. the pasta itself was very good because it was homemade and the sauce was good, it just didn't taste much like carbonara sauce. But overall it was a great choice. I also want to point out the staff, who were very nice and played the best playlist I've ever heard in a restaurant. 100% recommend.

Great place! We visited Maka 5 times this week and all dishes were very tasty. Waiters and waitresses are also very professional and kind. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to eat something delicious for a very reasonable price!

Delicious pizza! We're vegans (and there's no vegan cheese available) so we decided to have a classic marinara. It was very tasty. Make sure to stop by when in Makarska :)

An excellent place to have dinner - a very nice interior design, great service and excellent dishes.

Actually, the pizza is really, really great but don’t miss out the rest of the menu!! We had the „Made in Croatia“ platter with excellent ham, cheese and salami - so delicious! But also the dry-aged beef was just divine.

Just one suggestion: One could consider to change the olive oil to a local product.

Good pizza - happy belly. Friendly staff, the music is too loud for a relaxed conversation.
