Restaurant Dubrovnik

This restaurant is such an experience! The lobster was the best I’ve ever had! We also enjoyed the lamb filet and an appetizer. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to be sure we were happy. Croatian wine is fabulous and I recommend pairing it with your meal! The food presentation was just beautiful! We are so glad we tried this place!

My pictures do not do justice to the incredible dishes we were served. The chef was always attentive and kind and open to talk and the waiters did a great job explaining every dish and how it was made. Now with regards to the flavours, they truly were incredible. The scallops were the most tender I had ever tasted and I can say the same for the lobster. Everything was great, worked well together and tasted fenomenal. If you like fine dining and good tasting experiences definitely try this place out.

Best restaurant we have eaten in for years. We had the tasting menu and every course just amazed. The staff were wonderful and so knowledgeable about their food and wine. If you only do one thing In Dubrovnik eat here. Can’t recommend this place enough. Loved it.

The Atmosphere: Down one of the side streets in Old Town. Quaint, now over crowded with a lot of tables, no great view but romantic none the less. It’s perfect for a quiet night out.

The Food: We got the five course tasting with the wine pairing and it was out of this world. The wine pairing was perfect, that really stood out to us.

The Cost: Yes you will spend €300-€400 for a meal for two with the wine pairing, less if you just get one glass of wine like a normal person. But this place is worth it, treat yourself, you deserve it.

Overall: Five stars for sure. Make reservations in advance.

We enjoyed a wonderful and memorable evening at Restaurant Dubrovnik a few days ago. We selected the tasting menu with a range of spectacular dishes, all magnificently presented, and equally delicious. The wait staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable, the service impeccable. They even thoughtfully provide footstools so handbags can be kept off the floor - that’s a fantastic touch as I loathe placing my handbag on floors!
As a final surprise, our dessert was brought out on a platter decorated with “Happy Anniversary” beautifully written in chocolate! Hvala puna!

The restaurant is located on a terrace very close to the Main Street (Stradun) in Dubrovnik. The ambience in the restaurant is lovely, and the staff is very professional and friendly. The interior design is also just gorgeous.

In addition to the restaurant they have a wine cellar on the bottom floor by the entrance which is very elegant - this is what can be seen in the pictures I added!

Most importantly, the food was unique and definitely an experience! I believe they are well on their way to a Michelin star, and would definitely deserve it if they get there.

All in all, highly recommended if you visit Dubrovnik!

An incredible meal, very much fitting of a special occasion. We had the smaller chefs tasting menu with 5 courses (+ a few small treats thrown in) and this was ample food. The highlights were the amuse bouche, the smoked eel and mussels and the lamb fillet. Very measured and attentive service, nice to see everyone taking pride in the food they’re serving. Hopefully the restaurant will earn a Michelin star soon!

Yesterday we had our dinner at Restoran Dubrovnik. The service was great from beginning till the end. A day before we tried to make a reservation but got the message the restaurant was fully booked and that we were placed on a reserve list. But two hours before dinnertime we luckily got a message they had a cancellation and we were welcome! We both ordered the chefs special menu, with a little adjustment which was no problem. Soldo (or Steven, haha) was our waiter for the evening and he did a great job, with humor and talked us through all the amazing dishes and wines. The food was excellent, we really enjoyed every dish. We also really liked the ambience and felt very welcome.

Me and my husband walked in last night not knowing this is a Michelin star restaurant. Everything was amazing. Decor is beautiful, choice of music is great, service is excellent, cocktails and selection of wine are both impressive. Food is phenomenal! Everything was just faultless. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Where do I even start!! Great venue, amazing friendly knowledgeable staff, relaxed and unpretentious. We had the 9 course chefs menu with wine pairing. Worth every penny. Spent almost 4 hours enjoying every course and it flew by. Each and every person on staff was warm and welcoming. We have eaten all over the world and this was right up there with the best if you’re looking fine dining with artistic presentation. Each course was expertly paired with appropriate wine choices. This was the fine dining experience we’ve been waiting for since the world wide lock down.

We had dinner here for our last night in Dubrovnik and it did not disappoint. This was our fave place for dinner during our vacation, and compared
to the places on the main street was reasonably priced - especially for what you get. You need a reservation and they have 2 sittings a night (at 7 and 930), which allowed for romantic, relaxing and classy dinner without noisy passers-by. The ambiance was fantastic. Our server Zoran was also fantastic and his recommendations were 👌🏼we had the mushroom risotto, scallops and crispy ravioli, with blue poppy mousse for dessert - presentation and taste were amazing. We wish we had room to order more! Highly recommend. Oh. Also. They gave my purse it’s own “chair” -🤯😃!

Faultless evening. Had the tasting menu with wine pairings. The service is what made the experience though. Attentive, informative and efficient without being over bearing or pushy. Made the menu feel like a journey and paced just right. Best meal I had in Croatia.

Our best meal in Europe, quite possibly my favourite ever. Dining here is an absolute must if visiting Dubrovnik. Every single dish was exquisite. The flavours and presentation were outstanding. The cocktails and wine were perfect. The service was exemplary. Our server, Daniel, and the hostess, Leah, were very attentive and made great recommendations. We chose seven dishes with their help and were blown away. I highly recommend the foie pâté, mushroom risotto, and lamb. This restaurant is off the beaten path and the atmosphere is exceptional.

Outstanding food and really creative deserts. The chef sent out several complimentary creations to try. One was white chocolate/truffles with chocolate mouse on a bed of roast coffee beans. The textures and flavors were really interesting.
It’s definitely a level above other restaurants in the same area/price range.

The service is simply phenomenal. On the first night, I came unannounced without even changing out of my swim trunks, famished and not really expecting to get in. I felt immediately underdressed when I went upstairs. On the subsequent evening, a personal issue caused me to be one hour late for my reservation. On neither occasion did this cause a blemish in their very personal and comprehensive service.

Now as for the food, having tried both Chef's Menus I've basically seen the entire cart. I would say there are a lot of dishes here which are more exploratory than I am used to, but everything was well made and certainly a gastronomic experience. If nothing else, try the celery soup. Also, the sommelier's wine pairings were always excellent.

Got the small tasting menu with the wine pairing. Accommodating to gluten free. Better than the other Michelin restaurants in Dubrovnik. Apologies for the poor lighting. They care more about the food than the gram.

Very nice restaurant and experience, probably the best service I ever got in a restaurant, everyone was genuine, with smile and welcoming, very knowledgeable. Always ready to help. The food was nice but maybe a bit too much obsession with truffle in the second degustation menu.

Outstanding restaurant, we were lucky to have a table for two in the corner of their terrace and the service was excellent. We both enjoyed the full tasting menu and each course was delicious with a couple of surprises in between.

Reservations are required and advise eating no later than 8pm for tasting menu as takes some time, I believe they stop serving tasting menu at 9.30.

Delicious haute cuisine, we had the smoked eel, beef ragu ravioli and scallop with goat cheese cream, the scallop was poached just right and they kindly dished all appetizers into 2 for us, very professional of them. The main dish are very delicious, both turbot and European lobster are very fresh. All these are accompanied by good local wine and great service. Very hospitable staff and delicious food.

The staff is absolutely kind. From the host to the server to the sommelier. Spotless!

The food is quite delicious. I think to choose a la carte seems a beeter option than the menu, cheaper and seems better experience. The big highlight was the hot starters in my honest opinion. The risotto and the octopus were out of this world.

Soft points to consider. The oliver oil is so good maybe anong the top 10 i tried in the world (including Michelin star rated restaurants) however the bread is far away from the standard, sad.

The porc is also okayish. Nothing special. All the rest was amazing.
