Hotel Bastion

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. Hotel is easily accessible by car even though the rest of the old town is not. Extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended!

Note that the garden bar across the road plays music til late. It was totally fine for me, but some people might like to know in case their room faces that way.

We stayed here for the New Year Eve, which was the busiest time of the year and still had a great service. Room is nice and spacious. If you like european bistro style hotel with personalized service, Bastion checked all the boxes. Have a great shoutout to the staff. They are super helpful and friendly. Decent breakfast choice. We are definitelly going back.

Nice hotel in a perfect location. I had a clean, nice room with a good view. Service was great. Breakfast is also very good. I stayed shortly but I was satisfied as I had everything what I need.

Super nice hotel to stay. The staff are extremely nice . It has a spa where you can get a great massage a fair price, manicure, pedicure and even a ear hair removal. The breakfast is very generous.
The check out is at noon like old days!!

We loved staying here. Perfect location for wandering around the old city and walking along the waterfront. Food was delicious and the service in the restaurant and reception was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Room was small but overlooking the sea. Parking. Breakfast was buffet and a la carte. Front desk was attentive.

If you’re visiting Zadar you must stay here! Brilliant location, stunning room & view overlooking the beautiful marina. Delicious breakfast. The restaurant is fine dining at its best. Two minute walk to all the famous sites and the passenger port. Super friendly and exceptional service from all the staff throughout the hotel, from greeting me outside on arrival and carrying my suitcase into the hotel to parking the car. I could live in this hotel that’s how much I loved it! I wish to highly recommend the Bastion Heritage Hotel-Relax and Château. 10/10!

What a wonderful heritage property and the most cheerful staff - amazing service and the breakfast was just delicious!

My Husband and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. We were so impressed during our stay. Our suite was spacious and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We used the spa facilities, which we sincerely enjoyed. The breakfast was wonderful. Seriously, we can’t recommend this hotel enough. Very happy with our stay! Will come back if we are in Zadar again!

On the far end of town so it's slightly away from thenmain activity, but right in the mix at the same time. Right by the water, nice outdoor bar

Extremely polite staff- cell service, wifi, and card payments were down around Zadar but Hotel Bastions wifi was working. They allowed me onto their wifi in their lobby as a non-guest without insisting that I buy a drink or a meal. I did end up spending time at the hotel and purchasing tea and a soup. The soup was *incredible* and fresh-baked bread was to die for. Really appreciate their warmth and hospitality. Highly recommended!

I called directly and Mario answered and made the trip soooo easy. We saved money calling directly and Mario is a man of his word we got a king bed view of the sea and amazing breakfast m. The breakfast even has table service for scrambled eggs. I am sooo impressed with the service and all the staff smiled and said hello. The location is amazing we walked to the SEA ORGAN and the disco lights !!!!

We were upgraded to this hotel when our original choice had to be closed due to low booking. Lovely staff made us feel very welcome. Lovely room with excellent view over the Harbour. Room had very efficient air conditioning. Very nice breakfast buffet. Definitely best place in town.

Great hotel! Really nice rooms with good beds and bathrooms. Zadar is small, so the whole old Town is easily walkable from the hotel. Breakfast was good too.

If you drive there, finding the parking area is confusing. But that's minor.

Very nice wellness areas with very good massages. Kristina knows how to get these muscles relaxed!

Excellent hotel, had a few restful nights there. Large rooms with nice view from the terrace. The breakfast was delicious and the staff welcoming and kind. Every room looks elite and has a nice style. The city center was close, really had nothing to complain about
