Hostal Azul del Lago

I had an fantastic stay at this place! The people here are really really friendly, helping you with everything you need like information about transport, things to do and see, food and but also just having a good conversation! The location is incredible, in the middle of nature and the private sunset mirador overlooking the village and the lake with the mountains in the background is unbelievable, unique!
I can recommend a 100% !!!

Super hostel in the nature. Excellent and comfortable beds. Owner is friendly and helpful. A bit hard to find but when you are there, it's worth it. Close to the lake. And better prices than all the hotels around.

Lovely, cheap and perfect backpacker quality! Reliable wifi, hot water in the shower, reasonably well equipped kitchen and a water dispenser which is not obvious in Central America.
I highly recommend this accomodation to everyone wanting to visit the PANACAM. Go the the main road, catch a bus to La Guama and hire a tuk tuk to the laguna and the park entrance.
Ask the hosts for a pair of binoculars.
Just in front of the property you can buy cheap, homemade tortillas and mangos. In the supermarkets you can buy pretty much everything you need.

I'm a really cool location, secluded in a small neighborhood and surrounded by trees and plants. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful.

Nice hostel close to the lake. Friendly and kind owners.

Its s really nice place, the owners are super friendly, we cooked every night with them and they showed us how to cook hondurean dishes. Additionally its clean and the dorms are big. Stayed for 4 nights and wish I could stay here longer!

Beautiful paradise like hostel, within a tropical garden, with a great view on the lake and surrounding mountains. Super nice owners.

A very peacefull and wonderfull place in the middle of the nature.

Nuestra estancia en el Hostal Azul del Lago fue muy buena! Estuvimos en habitación privada con baño privado. La cama era muy cómoda y todo estaba muy limpio. Las zonas comunes son muy cómodas, a destacar las vistas al lago desde la parte del mirador, donde poder ver el atardecer tumbado en la hamaca. La cocina tenia lo necesario para poder cocinar lo que uno guste, y el staff fue muy amable y atento con nosotros.

Eines der besten Hostels die ich kenne. Super sauber und ordentlich. Die Besitzer sind unfassbar freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfbereit und es ist alles vorhanden um seinen Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Der Blick von der Terasse auf den See ist sowieso mehr als einmalig.

Buen lugar para alojarse y disfrutar del lago Yojoa. Las habitaciones muy cuidadas y limpias. El hospedador muy atento y servicial. Muy recomendable.

De los mejores hostales de zona, Franklin es un chico super buena onda nos recibieron a mi y a mi novia de la mejor manera, el Hostel está increíble casi como si estuvieras en la jungla. Todos deberían ir.

La atmósfera fue la mejor, mucho contacto con la naturaleza de una manera cómoda y agradable.

Buen servicio

We spent 3 nights at the hostel in Lago Azul. Benjamin and the other guy in charge of the hostel were super nice and caring. They provided us everything we needed. It is a very rustic hostel, immersed in nature. Very beautiful. The price might be too high for the type of accommodation we had and its facilities (no warm water in the private room. Not so close to the Naranjos park ), but the stay has been very nice.
