This place will grab your heart and attached itself. It’s so beautiful like out of a fairytale. The people are so kind and understanding. Google translate helped me and knowing a few words. I highly recommend going.

The most Beautiful lake I've ever seen! Surrounded by mountains and green vegetation they give you free rides on Sundays and play the marimba live that makes this place very special and unforgettable. I’m planning to visit it again next year but this time I want to bring my children I’m sure they will love it just as much as I do!

A wonderful stop. You will find dozens of restaurants and stores along the way and you can even hire a boat and go una boat ride. Plenty of parking. The boat ride is L50 (about $2.50 US) per person.

I have been to Lago de Yajoa, many times. I have a house there near Peña Blanca. Incredible and beautiful place. People and food are Incredible. Have done Mission work with the groups of Salt and Light, based in Jackson Mississippi, and with Friend of Barnabas based in Richmond VA.
