La Abadia

A fantastic find in the heart of Cobán! This cozy little restaurant offers some of the best cuisine anywhere! Owners Quique from Guatemala and Dubraska from Venezuela, will delight you with great service and superb food beautifully presented.

We were a group of fourteen hungry friends who left happily satisfied. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the pastas ranging from fettuccini with spinach, a la Thai curry. and with blue cheese were so delicious. I forgot to take pictures of our main meals, but here are a few of some of our desserts and one of the arepas. Chef Dubraska, your food is exquisite! We’ll be sure to stop by next time we visit Cobán.

A dessert with pears and blue cheese, ARE YOU MAD? Yet somehow it's delicious, like everything else we had for dinner. Great place, I highly recommend (and there's more classic things on the menu if you're not feeling adventurous).

Great ambience and food that's unique in Cobán

This cozy, romantic restaurant was so amazing we dined there two out of our three nights in Coban. The food was delicious and the service was very personable. Vegetarian friendly and great for a meat eater. I'd highly recommend it.

Lovely cozy restaurant within a few blocks from main square. The Venezuelan chef and her Guatemalan husband offer up a wonderfully diverse menu in a beautifully decorated intimate setting. Each one of our group of 5 had a delicious meal, with spectacular presentation. And at a very affordable cost. We loved the background eclectic music and the very friendly and nice hospitality of our host. A pretty amazing find in Coban! Highly recommended.
