La Aurora Zoo

Wonderful zoo. It is really well maintained and organised. If you’re visiting Guatemala City, you definitely should visit this place.

A very nice place to visit! There were lots of people probably due to the weekend, but it was no problem walking around and get to watch the different animals.

This is definitely one of the best zoos that I've ever visited. Most of the animals are kept in spacious exhibits, with plenty of room for them to roam and thrive. The layout and landscaping of the walkways for the people to move around and explore the terrain, is optimal. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Amazing experience, this was my first time going to the zoo since they brought new species, nice place to visit with family and friends, you can buy food, they have restaurants. To be honest I loved this place. The only bad thing is they close at 4pm and restaurants doesn't provide service at that time to take.

Our visit to the zoo in Guatemala was a delightful experience for my two kids and me. The animals appeared to be well cared for, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.

By the end of our visit, the kids were happily tired from all the excitement. Highly recommended for families with children visiting the area!

Conveniently situated in Zone 10, it's close to 'El Museo del Mino,' the National Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, along with other must-see attractions, making it a fantastic addition to your itinerary.

I've visited Zoos in Hawai'i, Chile, Costa Rica, and parts of the US. This one in Guatemala is better than all of them, really. It's well kept, has a wide variety of species, a playground for the kids to run around, and even a food court. Best part? The entry fee is less than USD$6. A must go if you're visiting Guatemala City.

There was a lot of animals to observe and there was also many activities for families. There was plenty of shade with pretty trees. The signs were clear.

This is great place the animals are treating good and living in a good environment.

awesome.zoo. Exotic animals that I have even found hard to find in US Zoos. Rhinos so close..."Black Panther" was very active... The mix of the elephants and the gazelles I think they were was so safari like...Peacocks just walking around free at the establishment was fun, but my fave was seeing the baby hippo with the adult hippo and the Lizard just walking up to them.. Really great zoo...They even had a playground for the kids.

Best Zoo you can visit in Central America. You can enjoy with your family a great variety of animals from Asia, Africa and all around the world. A must to visit when being at Guatemala.

This is a must see if visiting Guatemala. The tickets are much cheaper than American zoos. The quality is also better than a lot of American zoos. Don't forget to stop at the food court cause it's great too.

Excellent zoo, big, and it has all kinds of animals

A nice, well kept zoo, the animalsnlook in great shape and I love that some of them are roaming around freely. They have a huge variety of animals and it's very kid friendly.

Love love love this zoo. This was our first time visiting a zoo outside the US and really loved how close everything was especially with kids. The zoo in Washington DC/San Diego is so large that the kids get exhausted, however, here it was so different, the animals were close up so you got a real good look at them and the kids weren't tired from walking. Also love the design of the enclosure that really brings a certain feel to it.

Wow is 2022 and the zoo looks amazing. It was nice but now is wow! The price is more than Worthy Q40 adult. Has a lot of new aninals amd has been renovates, a lot of new designs and parking under roof. I love it. I give a 100%
