Restaurante El Adobe zona 1

I brought my girlfriend here during our trip to Guatemala City and we both loved it! Friends and family told her to stay in zone 10 but we went anyways. She felt safe and the service and food were excellent!! We had the huevos rancheros, el adobe and the oatmeal. All delicious. Highly recommend. Thank you to Kaddy, Oscar and staff!

The perfect Guatemalan cuisine spot in the civic center. You can taste plates from all Guatemalan areas, and the drinks selection is great. Listening to Marimba while eating is extremely relaxing. The owner, Oscar, supervises the great customer service and the smooth operations of the restaurant. I definitely will be back. Thank you

Our first experience with Guatemalan food. We ordered a meal with small pigs of 5 typical dishes in addition to the dessert and also the pollo a la crema. Wonderful food, very beautiful decoration, warm service and excellent atmosphere. Special highlight for the marimba that played while we ate.

Excellent Guatemalteca restaurant. Delicious and spice food typical from Guatemala, but also with options for more traditional costumers. Service is excellent, they explain how food is prepared. Tortillas are prepared by a woman in plain view, beautiful to see her work.

Authentic Guatemalan food in a quaint and cozy setting. Service, decor, and taste are good to make this a great family or business dinner. They have excellent traditional dishes, including vegetarian options, and a varied menu however it's poultry heavy. There's parking available right there, also.

Great place for families, some days live music, marimba. Prices reasonable for a lot of food.
