I'm mightily impressed about the outcome of my experience. While this store is not as expensive as others around the country, it has a unique charm to it. They're not hesitant to play a range of ACTUAL great music. Bowie and Morrissey in particular (two of my faves). Furthermore the icing on the cake were the extremely friendly staff members of whom are very supportive, and never fail to raise a smile and thus I got my Prince album with no issue whatsoever.

With more money and time on my hands; I'd be delighted to shop here again. And as a message to the staff I want to say: Keep up the good work!

A comprehensive selection of BluRay discs, DVDs, vinyl, CDs, audio equipment, as well as T shirts, books etc. Knowledgeable and personable staff who don't pressure you. A pleasingly old school retail experience!

Extremely good service, becoming one of my favourite shops to visit if I have a bit of spare time and cash.
Was served by a guy with dark long hair with blue in it (didn’t catch his name, sorry!). Bought a vinyl earlier in the day and when I played it it skipped like crazy, obviously just a bad pressing but I didn’t take the receipt. After I let the album play through to make sure I returned and was very lucky to be served by the same chap, he remembered me and did a straight swap.
Just listened to all sides and not one issue, very happy! Thank you for your help!

Lovely manager and lovely staff. Actually lost my fiancée in there and the manager had clocked where he’d gone for me, which is definitely above and beyond. Thank you!

Cool gadgets, reasonable prices, they have most little tech necessities (like flash drive) on stock... A lot of surprising discounts (I got a cool themed T shirt for almost nothing) and the stuff is super friendly and helpful at all times.

Great stock and found some fab reduced priced Star Wars toys too 👍

Great shop, dvd are down stairs and cd are up stairs, staff are very friendly. I only saw steps so people who struggle with steps won't be able to access up stairs.
They do everything from dvd, book, tops, vinals, cups and cds

I've always loved browsing HMV, this one's a good size over two floors with lots on offer. Get your movies, music and merch from interested and knowledgeable staff. A treat on the high street.

Good to see it reopen. Bought sone CDs. They need to have a big CD sale before focussing on vinyl.
