There are no signs on the door to say when the shop is open.
I had to go to the Post Office in WHSmith instead , which I try to avoid because it is so busy .

Disgusted. I was waiting to use the post office today . when a colleague asked a VERY well known alcoholic to leave the shop as she is banned . The work colleague asked the manager for assistance in removing (grace) .
However the manager then came out to grace and assisted her with her shopping . allowing her to buy shopping . I understand that grace is very well known to the police and is permanently banned from this shop. I felt embarrassed for the colleague who was serving me . The colleague must have felt undermined and not supported by her manager. I truly hope they do not lose this lovely lady who has served me for many years.

Owners of this store/franchise are destroying a local shop and Post Office..

Owned by Palmer and Harvey, blame them.
Franchise is allegedly refusing to pay a decent wage.
Looks like this shop will be gone shortly.
Whoever is responsible for this should be ashamed.

Like other reviews stated, shop can be closed at random times of day with no explanation other than a 'CLOSED' sign. Stock for essentials can be quite dry and poor hygiene rating as well. Stick to the other local shops and you should be good 👍

Inconvenience not convenience. Management don’t know what they’re doing. Empty shelves. Shop closes at 10.30am. Doesn’t open till 6.30 pm. Not able to send my post because I’ve missed my post. Management generally rude.

Terrible. Opening times change with the wind - scrappy bits of paper stuck in the window are the only hope you might have of working out what is going on. The store is extremely poorly stocked - rarely have basics.

Quality and variety of food has gone down since they took over from Co-op. Also on three separate ocasions we have been overcharged for goods.
