Brookvale Convenience Store

As i can see there’s many reviews of people saying that the shopkeepers rude, however that’s not the case. Many many times Krish has helped me with my Evri parcels showing me how to print the labels and get it sorted. Some people just don’t understand as their heads cant process anything. But overall I just wanted to say, some fabulous customer service and very helpful.

Really grateful this store exists, the only store in my local area open so late every day.
Never had a bad experience here and I return parcels quite often, even made a mistake once and wasted a lot of the person behind the tills time and they didn't say anything rude to me.

All parcel collections and returns from here are free in addition to the generous opening hours you can collect and return at any time up to 11pm

I never write reviews but I was surprised to read about all the mentioned rudeness.... not my experience at all! Owner is always willing to do Hermes returns and is always smiley and nice. Really impressive opening hours too :)

Seen lots of negative reviews on here but personally I've never had an issue. Been in a few times to either purchase something small or collect packages - the person behind the counter spent a fair bit of time verifying my parcel/ I am who I say I am, but personally I think this is a good thing so not anyone can walk in and falsely obtain my delivery. Happy with the service.

There seem to be a lot of bad reviews here talking about rudeness but I use this shop fairly regularly and have never had any issues. It's a normal corner shop yaknow you go in get your bits pay and you're on your way. The thing that makes it stand out is that it is open earlier and later than the other local shops.

Decent "corner shop". The owner is personable and the selection of cold drinks is good.

The gye is very honest and well behaved person when some one is good to him he is very good to him .

The single most rudest staff member I have ever come across!!! This man does not know the meaning of civilised. He's lucky I didn't switch on him. Expect no manners what's so ever. Really really bad environment inside this shop! Just because you get your package sent accordingly, does not need to he confused with the majority of us, who have had to deal with this Indians man filth.

Very rude staff. Old man doesnt like women i think. Cash only! Mmm tax man probably doesnt get what he should. I was charged 50p extra to use a card for something. Its a greed culture that exists in many of these shops run by these people. This lot have been to court once but i doubt it has stopped.

Be careful dropping off Evri parcels here. Once you hand your parcel over they keep them in a pile on the shop floor, which is not safe as they could be stolen! I have never seen any other Evri shops do this.

Very rude and hostile when I was attempting to collect a Evri parcel. I understand it can be stressful and I was slightly confused but there is no need to speak to people so agressively. I think they are overwhelmed by the popularity of Evri and vinted. A shame as having a local collection and drop off point should be very handy.

Do not use this shop for Evri returns. It is listed as having packageless return services, but the owner refused to follow this. Even when I showed him that it is listed as not needing to box, he was incredibly rude, told me to follow instructions, and started explaining what a box was to me. Please give your business to the other more deserving and friendly businesses in Portswood.
