Hatchers

Recently was told my loyalty card account had been closed because it hadn't been used for a while. I was a bit shocked really because I am unable to get upstairs there through ill health and no toilet facilities accessible for me and I am now disabled after having a stroke
I would've to have been able to use the cafe as its the best in town and the ladies are always so kind and helpful. If there was an accessible ladies loo and easier access to the 1st floor I would have shopped there more often

The last purchase I made there was a bosch food processor and apart from a few cards and lingerie that was it.

Needed to replace all intergrated white goods in our kitchen. Hatchers arranged it all and liaised closely with the installer and the whole process went like a dream. Staff could not have been more helpful.

One of a very few traditional stores left in the town. Everything is nicely presented and well displayed. Lovely to wander around.

Hatchers is great, good quality products and a great range. Staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. This visit we picked up some suitcases and curtains and both are very nice. Also, being able to park out the back is helpful for bulky items.

I went in to look at an electric heater, but they did not have what I was looking for, however the staff were very helpful.
I had to go up to the second floor and because the wife suffers from dementia I had to leave her sitting on the ground floor, but again the staff were very helpful,

I am sorry to say, that I often forget to check out Hatchers when I need anything. Whenever I do visit this independent department store, the staff are always truly helpful, friendly and understand what good customer service looks like. They offer a huge range of products, covering most of the main brands (electrical, fashion, household, etc). Recommended!

Friendly helpful staff but couldn't find what we wanted.

I recently made a purchase here in the Electrical Department. I was assisted by a very helpful salesman called Paul - he was extremely sharp and very switched-on. A lovely department store with great customer service.

What a wonderful shop. We were in Taunton (we live in Redditch 125miles away!) For a visit. Popped into buy a phone charger lead. They sold an unbelievable range of goods, ended up spending over £160. Prices good as well. We'll be back soon.

This is a wonderful old time store ... a Grace Brothers ... with an excellent range of products and proper, great service, old-time traditional service values.
It has a cafe on the upper floor which serves lovely cakes and a good range of hot foods ... in comfortable surroundings. We travelled from Devon, just for the experience. The Xmas decorations also added to a lovely days shopping.

The technical team recently gave me some technical advice and I found it top notch. I have been in IT and Technical roles most of my working life but the Hatcher's technical team were still able to provide some answers that I hadn't considered. Well done team. This kind of hands on advice is becoming rare.

I purchased a TV from Taunton hatchers this week.
I can't fault anything. Such good service. Everything was explained to me. No pushy sales. Very fast delivery. So helpful. Even the delivery driver. 🙂

A veritable gem - worth every extra penny

Went to the cafe brought a few things staff lovely food I had a breakfast it was awesome 💯 fried bread to die for 👍👌

A lovely restaurant, table service, polite, friendly helpful staff. Lovely food. I don't understand why it isn't busier, far better than the self service you usually get in a department store and a better selection of food

Have just used this shop for the first time, I had spent ages being messed about by curry's (it's in stock/its out/can't give you a delivery date/delivered the wrong fridge/delivered a damaged fridge etc etc) snapped and bought one from here.

SUPERB service (thank you Tom and colleague), helpful, knowledgeable, £10 CHEAPER than currys (!)and when was it delivered? THE DAY AFTER I BOUGHT IT!!!by a polite and lovely delivery team!
Never going anywhere else again, have recommended to everyone.

I bought a bed from Hatcher's and the salesman was very patient and couldn't have been more helpful. It was delivered when he said it would be by two extremely professional and helpful operatives. All three are great ambassadors for Hatcher's. Well done.

Had breakfast here last week. Food was amazing. Highly recommend saute mushrooms & scrambled eggs, it was lush. Staff friendly & welcoming.
