Perkin Warbeck - JD Wetherspoon

This was a fabulous pub for drinking, with a large area that has a classic design! This is coupled with glorious lights across, counter is well-presented too and toilets had cleanliness maintained. I had two delicious pints of cider, taking advantage of the selection of flat ones on craft that has to be asked for! The seating is comfortable and staff were friendly, being understanding when I was feeling slightly off towards the end around midnight.

Excellent and huge traditional town centre pub / wetherspoons. Current upgrade and replacement of the heating and ventilation system will make this establishment even more comfortable.

I went to lower Petherton carnival it's was freezing cold weather, we looked up the nearest spoons wasn't far away
About 10 min drive (carnival inn is closer but the carnival was heading that way so it was a no goer)
The Taunton spoons is big, doorman were polite when we arrived at 11pm( due to the late running of the carnival of 90 mins) we went for coffee as I was driving back to torbay keep me awake

The service was very quick from the app staff were friendly

Its always good visiting other spoons u know what ull get so it's like home from home

Sad to hear the other spoons in Taunton went it was very retro spoons indeed

3 plates for £15 and 2 bottles of cider for less than £6 can't go wrong there! Staff were lovely and so was the atmosphere

Good Staffs, large pub and has a nice garden upstairs. Food was nice. Had a great time.

I know it's "just Spoons", but it's a very decent Spoons with really good staff members that work really hard every time I go there. Food is always on point, drinks are quick and the atmosphere seems friendly. Can't compliment the staff enough. Would recommend 👌🏻

Always busy but loads of tables. Always quick service. Nice staff. Food is on the whole good considering the reasonable price. Its just the steak that I would avoid as far to tough.

What can we say it's a spoons. Service is good food is good value for your money. We had a slight issue with one of our meals but it was rectified in record time so a great experience.

Certainly a large pub...with a lovely raised outdoor seating area. Also good to see that there is a policy of no smoking outside too.. Non smokers can now enjoy the outside space and eat without the experience ruined by smokers who saw it as "their space" .

It's a Wetherspoons so has a great range of real ales, lagers wines and spirits. One of the plus points for Wetherspoons are they do take the trouble to source and stock local offerings.

The food is reliable and reasonably priced.
Range is good with vegetarian options.

Menus display the calories which is helpful if you are watching the calories.

Easy to order on the app. Quick and efficient service. Polite staff. Busy but lots of seating. Good ol' reliable Wetherspoon. Tasty and great value for money. Recommended.

Am a regular there eaten and never any problems but main reason for review was suddenly taken ill while there on Tuesday staff could not have done enough especially callum who sat with me to ambulance came fantastic all round many thanks

Cheap and cheerful without being rubbish. They food was good, served pretty quickly. It was hot and exactly what we ordered. It didn't cost a fortune. The pub was clean, tidy, despite being very busy. The staff were all lovely, efficient and friendly. And we didn't spend a fortune. Thanks

Not had any food yet but looks OK.
Nice & cheap drinks.
Will go again & maybe try the food.
Lots of tables to sit at + also an outside area.

Many tables available, really quick polite service, it was busy but still had the level of service to check we were happy with our food. Excellent range of real ale on hand pump.

Pleasantly surprised! Spoons is Spoons or so we thought. But got to say the Perkin Warbeck is very good. Ordered light bites was after 9pm but mini pizzas and halloumi fries very good. Were checking IDs at the door but in a friendly way. Noisy but friendly atmosphere and all welcome even old f**ts like us. Wine prices madly cheap and went down very well.

Good pub all round. Usually there's ample of staff to serve drinks or bring over meals, which have always been appetising on the many occasions I've dined there. Clearly the micro-profit/volume sales system is working well in these cash-strapped times as the venue is busy even when other nearby pubs are customerless.
