M&S Simply Food

First time visiting a cafe over 4 months, and we love it! We felt safe the whole time we were eating, everything is clean regularly, and the staff make you feel comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Some nice things here that you can't get anywhere else, including a great range of hot cross buns as Easter approaches.

There food is very good could inprove the coldslaw

This was the first time I had been shopping for a year as I have been shielding throughout this pandemic. This shop thinks of its customers social distancing throughout the store. The person outside sanitizing the trolleys everything you would expect. Fantastic experience. I was very nervous with no need to be as I felt safe. Well done Marks&Spencer's.

Lovely toasted turkey and stuffing sandwich which i washed down with a latte in the M&S cafe. There was a short queue at the counter however we were served within a couple of minutes by the very polite and couteous staff. The cafe was clean and well staffed.

Great little store, I personally don't do my weekly shop here but do pop in for the odd couple of little bits and the cafe area is great for a coffee and cake.
Staff are always pleasant, store is always very tidy and can get very busy. The store is located on a retail park so always lots of parking available.

Visited the clothing part of the food hall to buy some jogging bottoms. As my sight is not good the assistant was very helpful and picked for me the right size and colours. It was a very pleasant shopping experience. Thank you lady assistant for your help. It was most appreciated.

Excellent shopping venue with a lovely cafe 👏👏👏

Set meal dish for two containing ham and chicken I found to be excellent. Taste and appearance on packaging. Also, the chocolate and nut desert very good and all at a great deal for two. A bottle of white wine to compliment the meal.

Great selection of food and drink here, including small bottle alcohol-free wines in red, rosé and white. Always clean and tidy, with helpful staff. The best part of this store is the bakery, which offers at least three types of sourdough loaves each day (the San Fran loaf is lovely!), cronuts and Danish pastries.

As of 28th October 2020 the store is undergoing a partial restructure to help with Covid-19 measures and remove the clothing section.

OK, Elephant in the room, M&S are expensive. BUT if you look around there are offers to be had which makes them quite reasonable and the quality of the food is very good, they definitely live up-to their reputation.
As I'm below retirement age I don't bother with the clothing section though.

Great products and well stocked. A little pricey compared to other large retailers but shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Top quality food products and quality costs.

Great choice of produce. A very busy store...shame they took the clothing out.

You may think Mark's food is all expensive, but they stock cheaper ranges too . You can also get ladies clothes here also, and stuff like bin bags, foil, etc. Has a good range of gluten free items, even GLUTEN FREE FISH FINGERS. Yummy.

Had a problem with the snow globe gin bottle as it didn't light up. Couldn't get through on the tph, impossible, ridiculous, automated system. M&S really need to address their tph system. Because of this I had to go into the Anlaby shop. Great customer service. Staff absolutely went above and beyond to correct the problem. Shame re M&S tph system.

Good choice of food. Good quality as usual. Plenty of tools so didn't have to queue for long. Free parking. Nicer than the store in the city centre

Called into M&S for a couple of food items but ended up picking up a variety of really good reductions on tinned biscuits and chocolates. Great for presents.

Amazing service from M&S today. The guy at the collection point in the Christmas jumper (didn’t catch his name) was extremely helpful despite being incredibly busy. Thank you.
