The Food Warehouse by Iceland

How the young guy at the till kept his cool with a customer insisting an on- line offer should be applied in-store was beyond me.
The queue was getting longer and longer and more annoyed that another till opened briefly, then shut again.
Manager was called, saying nobody available due to doors being open because of a delivery ( true, I saw the delivery wagon when entering retail park) .
My only criticism is surely at near Xmas times that more people should move onto the tills when something like this occurs!! ?
And to clarify on its on-line deals.

Apart from that, it's generally a fantastic store, well run , well presented and clean .

Great value on frozen foods. Bargains throughout the shop. Large parking area disabled access. Other retail outlets pets at home, Asda homewear for various rooms, m&s food, Morrison, gym, coffee shops, parking is 3 hours only.

Shopped in this store earlier today. I currently have my left arm in a sling due to a fractured shoulder. The young man on the till offered to unpack my basket then packed my shopping for me. His name was Keelan and this was the Anlaby store. What fabulous customer service by this young man ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great shop and helpful staff. You can buy products in bigger sizes here than in regular supermarkets. There's quite a variety of things to choose from too.

Always easy shopping experience due to helpful and pleasant assistants who go out of their way to help. Some excellent bargains with chicken at £19.99 for 5 kilos for big chicken breasts. Work out at less than £1.50 each and venison steaks at £2. Savings card also good interest and very useful for Christmas.

Huge variety of Slimming World Foods and also broghies. Did quite a large shop and saved a lot of money so didn't go to the Supermarket. The staff were all extremely helpful and the guy on the till was very happy and chatty with all the customers. Will definitely be going there more often.

Staff are always so helpful, I was a manager at m&s and your customer service is very good, especially today at anlaby on the tills...a lady about my age 60? Very helpful and didn't rush me. I wish I took her name she was so pleasant.

Well stocked at a decent price.

Great a really great place to shop use a many times a week parking is good. But bit disappointed I always get The Porkies pork Scratchings every week but since they have put them up a massive 50% from £1 to £1.50 . I will not be purchasing any more.

Only place I use for my monthly shop, always has what I want. Worth the travel from east hull

Shopped here today 1st September got all that i needed at the till the lady was very friendly i asked about the raffle they were doing she explained it was for charity we bought a ticket and she was so pleased a very friendly check out lady i wish more were like her in other shops a big thank you to her

Ideal for your groceries, staff always helpful, however be careful how you stack your drink as a load fell on an old chap today and I was the one who assisted him and picked it all up.

Selection and prices here are excellent - been shopping here for long time now and think only once got something that I wasn't happy with. If I have any complaint it would be checkout - sometimes 6 or 7 people queuing but only one checkout working, needs to be addressed.
