Earthfare

These guys are the hub of Glastonbury for supporting local organic and sprayfree growers of fresh vegetables, fruits and other fringe items. They stock a big range of Riverford Organic produce delivered fresh from Devon. They've got the pantry sorted with everything you need from breakfast cereals, coffee, vegan milks, cows milk, chocolate to crisps, cheeses to Sauerkraut. We bought the vegetarian sausage rolls which were great. They have another savoury selection in the display fridge but don't warm them up for you - I tried eating the Potato cakes and they weren't good cold. I took them home and heated them up and were way better. They gave a deal going where you can buy 3 for 5 pounds which was pretty good value. The takeaway coffee was good - we ended up walking down the road to the church grounds and sat in there to munch on our goodies before hitting some of the crystal shops and clothing boutiques. It makes for a good day out when you can good coffee, organic food and chilled out vibes meandering around the streets of Glastonbury!

I love popping into Earthfare when given the chance if only to breathe in the aromatic air. It smells so wholesome in there. I always purchase a very particular bio selenium supplement for my elderly mum which they keep in stock here. Staff are knowledgeable on what they sell which always steers me in the right direction on what to get. It's always a pleasure to visit them.

Earthfare is so popular/well known amongst people who eat healthy food. In fact I feel almost fraudulent reviewing Earthfare as I'm not near Glastonbury and only get there maybe once twice a month. There's not many people in the area who don't already know them and regularly shop here.

There was a time in memory when food was just simply food. Maybe you agree that before chemical filled plastic containers arrived with our portions this produce was called food.

If you care about, your internal environment, our Earth environment or just good food please give this shop a ago.

This place was great to buy nice local produce like the Pennard Organic Mead I enjoyed for Lammas. A great choice of natural soaps, lots of yummy foody treats, this is well worth a visit and a good browe.

Love it in here, staff are super friendly and there's a great selection of stuff at reasonable prices. Live in London but always make sure I come here when I am in Glastonbury to stock up on soaps, vegan chocolate and other lovely bits. The sausage rolls are fab too.

I love this shop and would have given 10 stars if I could! Very friendly, knowledgable and helpful staff, top quality food. I am sad that your Portishead store has closed as that was much nearer for me. I will now resume my fortnightly trip from Clevedon to your lovely shop. Thank you to all of you. Best wishes Myra.

Love this shop, I come here for a lot of my organic supplies. Great range of foods. I particularly like how they have a lot of ready to eat food aswell can highly recommend the Fritata. I also really like their range of toiletries, it's the only place I will buy my shampoo bars from, Great value compared to other brands. Very helpful and friendly staff too. It's good to see they are trying to follow covid guidelines, but there did seem to still be a lot of people especially families not wearing masks or distancing

Amazing variety of products, alternatives and essentials. Was really cool just to browse actual vegan products rather than buying all online (we don't have anything similar to this where we live!) On top of that the samosa from the bakery at the back was to die for!

Long-standing, well stocked vege-vegan supermarket, with fair prices and a good selection of ethically sourced, local and home made produce. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Stocks natural remedies, supplements, toiletries as well. Cafe and bakery service.

Large selection and well organized shop, but some items are of questionably high price, even for a health foods shop. But they have fresh veggies and they employ trans people including a friendly, slightly shy trans woman who worked the till when I was there.

Best supermarket in town. They have everything for the health conscious souls. Organic, fresh veggies in a relaxed atmosphere. Big selection of sourdough breads plus a wide range of healthy packaged foods for the traveler's kitchen.

I could spend hours in here… beautiful shop! I think I discover a new favourite every time I go in there.

This place is a gem - making it so easy for the people of Glastonbury to live healthy lives through offering an exceptionally well-curated selection of produce and products. The fruit and vegetables are especially awesome! Wish they devoted slightly more space to these items, which sometimes run out on busy days. But overall wouldn’t change a thing about Earthfare - it’s the best supermarket I’ve ever shopped at and I’m grateful it exists ♥

great shop, lots of products right across the board. felt right shopping there. once my bank had approved my loan, i was able to afford more than 5 items ! will always keep coming back.

The only shop in Glastonbury with a queue. This is an excellent health food store. Not the cheapest but definitely the best. So many products to choose from. Their choice of bread is very good.
Anyway, give it a visit next time you're down that way.

Best Bombay Mix this side of the Ganjes, Best Homous EVER tasted! Plus frozen cuzza's that'll blow ya mind... Yeah, What a Shop! Oh, and lovely staff. 10 out of 10

The herbs and spices here are way better value than the supermarkets and the smoked paprika in particular is way nicer. You get about 40g for £1-2, whereas 10g refills are about £1 in supermarkets.
