Best supermarket around, frozen food, fresh food and the fresh meat are all spot on, there own brand/cheaper alternatives are always top quality, with the prices of everything going up, Aldi makes a huge difference

It is like the other Aldis, however it was very clean and the shelves were stocked neatly. It was very easy to locate what you needed and there were staff dotted around to help you. Nice place to do your everyday shopping!

Clean, well socially-distanced shop. I love the steaks (good prices) and the veg is fresh whenever I go. Would normally give a 4* review but today I have a complete faff over payment and had to go online to recover a PIN. Staff were fantastic! 😀

Nice quiet shop with everything I need. Generally like to go later in the night and they have a better stock of veg than the Llangefni one. Appreciate that the staff members on the tills gives me a minute to organise my stuff on the conveyer belt (when there's no one else waiting of course!)

I have shopped at the 'new' Aldi located in the retail park in Holyhead several times since it opened approximately 12 months ago. It's a fairly large branch of this so-called budget retailer, and the extra size has been put to very good use. There are really wide isles making browsing without jamming up the isle very easy. There is the usual ranges of everyday products (bearing mid-european logos) but you can always buy the more common UK branded products, at a premium price, if you really want to. The layout is similar to most modern supermarkets, but in particular I must complement this branch on having a really impressive range of beers, wines and spirits. There are the traditional 'middle isles' featuring their special buys - anything from clothes to electric power tools !! The till staff demonstrate the now familiar warp speed ability to scan your purchases, so don't start any long conversations, or you will be cought out ! The usual Covid precautions are in place, but the store/staff manage to generate a great efficient but friendly atmosphere, which helps to make carrying out ones weekly or spontaneous purchases more bearable. Outside is a very large car park, but the exit/entrance onto the service road can prove tricky as the road dimensions are fairly narrow, and the service road also provides access to other retail shops opposite. All in all, a bright, cheerful, modern, well desiged shop, which takes some of the pain out of the drudgery of food shopping. Oh yes ! Your mood will be further lifted when you pay your bill - the famous Aldi value for money shopping ethic is alive and well !!
