Excellent sandwiches, breads, cakes & pies. We picked up some fantastic sandwiches and a sweet pie and a little cake, they were stunning, would highly recommend. Looking at the amount of goods they had in the shop they were expecting to be busy for an off season Tuesday , I would guess that peak season is manic

Friends brought me to this place while on a road trip and we absolutely loved it!
The pecan tart was to die for!
I had the chicken salami sandwich and I inhaled the entire thing in 5 minutes, it was great!
Service was excellent too.
Salmon croissant was also very good!

Highly recommend!
There is a long line, so try to go early so they don’t run out of things.

Great lunch spot. The heated pies are the best, however the sandwiches are also good if you are hungry. Quick service but not much room to eat, so consider walking down to the stream and eating.

After a long run in the forest above Callendar I popped in to Mhor Bread & Store to sit down and relax for a bit.....i have just eaten one of their famous home-made steak pies....This was without any doubt THE most delicious pie I have ever eaten in the history of my life....the pastry was buttery and flaky yet firm, the slow cooked chuncks of beef were incredibly tender and fell apart in my mouth. Previous pies from other establishments that i have eaten have been too heavy on the gravy and I have ended up with a gravy chin burn, but this pie had exactly the right ratio of gravy to filling.

I then moved onto a bacon roll with ketchup....it was in the softest bread roll which was buttered with real butter (not margarine) and the back-bacon was thick and obviously of the highest quality...i added ketchup and took my first bite... again, my mind was blown as this was without doubt the best bacon roll I have ever tasted in my life.....I have now finished both the pie and roll and am considering buying 5 more pies (not all for today)

Ps...the coffee is also delicious - smooth and slightly nutty notes the perfect accompaniment to my pie and bacon roll. I sit here a very happy man. I will be back! Soon!

Fabulous. If I had to name Callander's attractions Mhor Bakery would be definitely among them. Cosy, friendly, always busy. Rather high end but not overprised. Steak and haggis pie is my favourite but there are also fab sugary options like rhubarb ones. Do have a try. I like to eat those outside (bit bussy inside) but the space is very authentic and asking for a photo.

The food here is tremendous. Sandwiches are homemade and packed full of delicious fillings. The steak pie was incredibly generous with beautiful flakey pastry, it was exceptional.

Staff were friendly and prices reasonable given the quantity and quality of the food. Lunch here was a real treat!

This is a must do stop for any traveller going to Glencoe. Everything in the bakery is delicious! It's all local made, fresh, and fantastically tasty. The lemon tart, cherry pie, and the focaccia are phenominal! The tea is also very lovely (the orange blossom was a hit!). The staff are super friendly, authentic, and quick to take your order.

Visit this bakery any time I am in the area. Everything we've ever bought has been excellent. All of the bread varieties I've tried have been excellent - really love the cheddar jalapeno sourdough. The pies are some of the best I've ever had: delicious pastry and generous fillings. The cakes and sweet pastries are also super good - the millionaire brownie is to die for! The breakfast rolls are delicious too. Genuinely can't think of a better bacon roll.

Outstanding! I rarely leave a review after just one visit, dropped in today for some lunch. Beautiful selection of food, everything we ordered was top notch. Well worth paying the small premium for this kind of quality. It was extremely busy, but the staff were working hard and getting through orders quickly.

It's always a good sign when a shop has a long queue.......served quickly and efficiently. Fantastic bread, sandwiches and the pies are apparently great too. Expensive, but high quality and in a tourist area, so expected (and worth it).

Mhòr bread is literally my favourite go to bakery on this earth. Their pies, bread, sweets and everything else they do is just phenomenal. The staff are lovely and always ask about my day. I go here literally every other day and always get a steak pie.

The only only downside to this place, and it's worth ignoring, is that it's very small and often has very long and hectic queues due to how amazing their food is. Well worth putting up with the queue as everything else outshines that. Hence 5 stars.

I went here whilst passing through Callander with friends and was blown away with how good it was. There’s a great range of sandwiches (I’d thoroughly recommend the pastrami one), pies and baked goods. The staff were really friendly, too. It’s not cheap, but the cost is reflective of how good the food is.

Definitely check it out if you’re in the area.

Love this place and always visit when we're in the area. Fantastic sourdough bread and epic pies. Popular so you might have to queue at busy times but well worth the wait.

A little gem. Fantastic pies, baguettes and baking. Not cheap, but fantastic quality and pies absolutely full of fillings. Gets busy, as it's so good, but helpful, efficient and lovely staff keep the line moving.

I stopped here on the way home from the west coast and I decided to get a sandwich for later in the journey and as we all know that leads into getting a pie then a Viennese whirl and a couple of fruit pies. The sandwich was that good I have started planning on going back, the pie was possibly the best I’ve had (bold statement some will say) and the rhubarb pie was other worldly. I’ve got the Apple pie left and her indoors has just devoured the Viennese in silence which is a glowing review in itself.
