This is the cutest wee pub, super friendly staff, absolutely delicious food! I love the decor and atmosphere. Was exactly what we needed after a long day driving.

Dined at The Lade Inn, nestled at the entrance to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and it's like stepping into a cozy Scottish haven. Surrounded by the countryside, the inn is surprisingly spacious inside, giving you room to breathe and soak in the atmosphere.

One unique charm is their own brewed beer, which adds an extra touch to your dining experience. The service was quick, friendly, and remarkably helpful, making you feel like you're among old friends.

Walking in, you're greeted by a festive explosion of Christmas decorations, setting the perfect Scottish holiday mood. To complete the ambience, there's proper Scottish folk music serenading from the speakers.

Now, for the food, I opted for the steak pie. The pie itself was a treat; you could taste the ale infused into the sauce, and the portion size was hefty. The meat was tender as a Highland embrace. However, the vegetables and fries left me wanting for more flavor.

Price-wise, it was just a tad above the pub average, but the overall experience made it worth every penny. If you find yourself at Loch Lomond's doorstep, The Lade Inn is a warm, welcoming stop for a taste of Scotland. 🏴??????

Lovely place with great food. Haggis were superb, I highly recommend it; excellent customer service.
During our one week stay we were returning to this place several times and we have tried most of the dishes - all of them were delicious.
Although we did not make a reservation, we got a table for eight each time.

The staff here are honestly so lovely, they really make you feel incredibly welcome

We came out of season so there were not many people here (great for us though!), it would be really nice to see a steak pie on the menu with a pastry base ;-) (only because it’s my favourite and I’m not a fan of the pastry topper style), we had the fish and chips and the haggis (my partner said the haggis was the best and most authentic she’s had)

The vibe/feel is super traditional and really lovely, I highly recommend the Lade In for those looking for a traditional pub, with a authentic lovely vibe

Popped in after a long hike and was not disappointed. We were greeted by lovely staff, who were very very friendly! Myself and my wife both got the steak and ale pie and you could tell straight away it looked homemade, nice chunks of what seemed like rump steak it was that tender and delicious! A very nice and homely meal…takes me back. I would and will come back again! Also has a wee dog friendly part through in the pub area which is great! Quite spacious although cosey!

Absolutely outstanding service, atmosphere and food: the perfect place to warm up after a walk in the beautiful surroundings with hearty yet refined food in one of the beautiful rooms, by the fireplace or in the bright room looking out to the garden. The Haggis balls and mushroom and spinach pie were truly exceptional.

Beautiful, traditional and cosy pub with amazing service. Currently sat beside the log fire and don't want to leave! Dogs allowed, gorgeous home cooked food and even a real ale shop on site. So nice to see a traditional pub still in business. A must visit

We walked here from Calander and had a great meal. We both had the home made steak pie . It was delicious with good quality tender beef. Then we both had pudding. I particularly like real Ales and the Lade Inn specialises in this with their own range. l can recommend if you are a real Ales fan you take the time to visit.

It had been a while since we had last visited here in fact before the pandemic started so we were long over due a visit here. This was always one of our favorite places to eat and they let well behaved dogs in as well which was a worry as our dog is borderline on the well behaved part. We didn't have a reservation but as we were there early enough they managed to find a table for us. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is just simply great. Very good portion sizes and the prices are very reasonable. They serve their own beer/ale. I didn't have any with the meal but when we were leaving we went into the shop next door where they have a good selection of beer and ale including there own. Needless to say the car rattled like a bottle bank every time we hit a bump on the drive home. Oh the beer was good.

Amazing food! Service was a little bit unpleasant (I suppose busy Inn calls for stressed waiting staff rushing through the rooms) but didn't spoil our lunch. We ordered appetizers- soups and haggis balls, lovely food in small enough portion size to leave room for the mains. Each person ordered different item off the menu: we tried traditional haggis, fish and chips, fried chicken, and a steak and ale pie. Everything was hearty, well-spiced and delicious. We also tried house beers, recommended! In overall it's a great place if you are driving past Callander and want a taste of traditional Scottish cuisine.

Delicious honest food with excellent service. Honestly the best haddock and mushroom pies we’ve ever had. Thank you for keeping your prices affordable and dishing up the tastiest food! We shall certainly return!

We ordered Hagis, Steak Pie and Wild Mashroom Pie. Everything was delicious. Prices reasonable. Time to serve acceptable.
Unfortunately WiFi coverage is bad. Doesn't work outside at all and also inside disconnects and works extremely slow.

We ate at the Lade Inn recently and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. the crispy haggis balls were a real treat.
We had the dog with us and were made to feel very welcome, a little treat for the dog was really appreciated.
The service was particularly good, table service for drinks and food and the staff were very attentive.
We are looking forward to returning.

I have to admit I rarely give 5* to restaurants as there is always something wrong, either with a food or the service. My evening was pleasant from stepping inside the restaurant, warm welcome from the Staff, good choice of table by the Staff, good service and friendly manner from the Staff also.

The food was amazing. When I say amazing I mean 5*.
Myself, who does not a fan of haggist I loved the starter haggis balls with the tasty whisky sauce, my burger was also very tasty and filling, and I tried the chicken goujons in battered coat and OMG the best chicken goujons I ever had.

This place truly amazed me in every way.

You guys made my day.
Thank you 👏

We really needed a break from our drive from Oban to Sterling. The Lade Inn served us even without a booking. The food was delicious and before long, we were on our way again.

Great homemade cakes and beers including their own they sell in shop next door. Lots of seating, adequate parking and open in winter season.

Had a wonderful meal at Lade Inn. The food was excellent. I had the Plowman's platter. My wife had the soup of the day, and my son enjoyed the mushroom and spinach pie. We topped it off with the 🍨 of the day. The warm custard was to die for over the tart. The Lade dark beer and the ale were both worth another pint. Very nice garden out the window. The entire staff were very friendly and got us in and served before the kitchen closed.

Campervan stopover. Friendly. 2 front of house staff ( owners?) working very hard but keen to please.
Log fire in bar. Restaurant area less homely but clean.
