Had a fantastic time here at the beginning of march.

The cabin was lovely and warm when we first arrived, very clean and well catered for 4 people (plenty space).

The hot tub was great (and hot), i used it every day!

All the staff were really helpful and cheery, special mention to the Ranger Pauline, she gave us some pointers on where to eat outside of the Retreat. She even made a reservation for us.

we have booked to stay again, but with a cabin with a loch view.

We didnt upgrade the wifi to the premium package and found it to be more than fast enough to use. You also get a good mobile coverage in the area.

Highly recommend!!!

This is a holiday location we have been back to after 11 years, and it's still as beautiful and stunning as it was the first time.

The facilities are wonderful, clean and comforting, and despite being close to other cabins it's till private, you cannot beat the views you have while walking along the the Loch side and what is local such as the shop on site and Callander only a quick drive away.

The staff are exceptional and will go out their way to ensure your stay is perfect, always have a wlsmile and honestly who wouldn't with the location you're at!

There is so much to do within the time you have their and we didn't manage to complete everything we wanted to do. Fishing is spot on but is weather dependent. Walks are manageable (if you have kids, some bits can be steep), but nevertheless, breathtaking and unforgettable.

one of the best weeks away we've had in a while. the cabin was so secluded, the park was quiet people polite and respectful. nearby Loch for swimming and paddling. Close to loads of great walks and tourist things. the little town is beautiful and not too far for supplies. Only problem we've found is the beds are not comfy at all so we take spare sleeping bags and sleep on top of the duvets or on the sofas.

Was here recently with our 2 dogs as part of our honeymoon. Second visit this year, beautiful location, fantastic lodge! Special thanks to Gill for going above and beyond to make sure we had the best time! Highly recommend, hope to return soon and will consider other forest holiday parks due to their high standards.

A beautiful location and, with the cabins well spaced, it always felt very quiet and secluded. The cabins are really comfortable with everything you'd need. The hot tub is a very welcome treat

Booked last minute and so glad we did. Beautiful location, the lodges were lovely and the hot tub added a touch of luxury. We will definitely be back. Loved it!

We regularly stop for coffee and cake when walking or cycling. Friendly staff, nice ambience, very dog friendly. I am local so can't describe the accommodation but the visitors say it's a good place to stay.

This was the most beautiful cabin and holiday I have had. Their cabins are amazing and there is nothing better than getting into the hot tub after a day of walking/hiking in beautiful Scotland. We would highly recommend. We had food here too and it was delicious.
We have a teenager and a 10 month old and it was perfect for both!

We usually go to Keldy but wanted to try somewhere different. Bit further to go, but in the last week of October, it was beautiful. Location is perfect with a nice flat walk along the side of the huge loch lubnaig. A few good little beaches for the dog to swim in. Amenities are always a little pricey but handy. There is a Tesco in Callander if you didn't want to bring food with you. Highland cows you can pet between lodges and Callander at killmahog...
Fantastic place and you can head north if you want some mountains with snow on them.

Cabins in a forest right next to Loch Lomond. They have a hot tub and gas barbecue on the decking. We had a three bedroom cabin one room was en suite and there was a toilet and bathroom downstairs. The reception staff were really good. All in all a wonderful stay. Plenty to do around the area for adults and children alike.

Loved the silver birch cabin, hot tub great. The walks around here are fantastic and certainly, in April, can walk for miles on forestry commission land without meeting anyone else.

So good we go every year! 40 mins from home, but it feels like the middle of nowhere. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the cabins are always spotless. Hot tub maintenance is routine, speedy and nonimposing. Excellent for long lays after late night hot tubbing.

The lodges are so comfortable, a true home from home. We opted for the welcome package and really enjoyed it, I highly recommend it as the tea, coffee, biscuits and pastries were a fantastic treat after a long journey.
The lodges were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was well maintained, they check it everyday and it was clean and ready to go when we arrived.
I can't fault Forest Holidays in the slightest, everything was perfect and I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
