B&Q Tunbridge Wells

We visited on Sunday 14 Jan 24 and wanted to get some paint made up - we were served by Fatima who was sooo helpful and soo calm and nice and even when the paint was mixed, she saw my nervous face and ensured that I was happy by popping a smidge of it on the matching valspar paint colour card and drying it with a hairdryer to show the final result was spot on. Her enthusiasm and knowledge was just perfect - it was such a pleasure to have met and dealt with her - she is a credit to the branch. Thank you Fatima.

Very helpful very patient and even helped yo load the merchandise into my car. First class service from a guy called Christian he should be appalled. As a hearing impaired person this was first class service well done and thanks.

Went to my local branch Tunbridge Wells.
Needed some help for an off cut for kitchen worktop. Met Gill who advised me to return this morning, well how amazing was Gill had seen apiece and it’s just what I needed. Can’t thank her enough, definitely an asset to B&Q

When I visited B&Q Tunbridge Wells I found the staff very helpfull and polite. I did nt get to have a good wonder about the store as the product that I was after was in the main door way(kiln dried logs 60 Ltr bags for my wood burning stove) which I found to be of good value for money and they lasted a good while. This place is well worth a visit for all your DIY and trade needs.

Great store. Generally lots of friendly staff to hand if you need assistance. Plenty of parking 👍

Well, one B & Q is much like any other, but on the whole I can generally find what I am after. Picked up some nice modern polished chrome and led lights for the house recently and quite reasonable prices. Staff quite helpful and the place is nice and clean. Glad they decided to get rid of the useless self service checkouts they had, never seemed to work properly and were slower than the manual checkouts.

Really helpful staff who answered all questions perfectly and helped me find what i needed. Good cleanliness at till area also. Shop itself is laid out well and most items are well signposted. Easy to move around and find things, as well as the covid measures in place which were better than some other shops in the same area.

I have been using B&Q for gardening, home decor and tools.
The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend.

It's a DIY shop and it always has what I need. I know what it has and what it doesn't have so I'm never disappointed.

I popped into my local branch today with a friend for a couple of bits. Firstly I was greeted by a very nice young lady called Becky. She was welcoming and friendly. My friend and I were then greeted by another member of staff. Who again was very kind and helpful. His name was Kieran. He showed us around to various parts of the store,whilst helping my friend locate the necessary items she was after. Very clean and friendly store. Would recommend a visit there for all your DIY needs.

Love this store. Such a huge variety of everything you need for doing your home up. It's even better now they're getting their Christmas goods in. I spend ages deciding on what decorations I want to put up.

Excellent help and attention particularly by Ollie. He was the most efficient and knowledgeable young man . He demonstrated care and total attention to my request. Solve the problems with charm and I felt the visit to the shop was a worthwhile experience.
I must say everyone had been most helpful in the shop not only today but other visits too. Well done !

Extensive selection and easy parking

I find shopping hard with a mask and glasses, but there staff are very helpful waiting while i tried to demist my glasses at check out. As I mumbled to my self looking for some paint an assistant asked if everything was alright, seeing my glasses where steamed up. I told him what I was looking for, he then got what I needed. Many thanks virus or not B&Q staff are excellent in every way.

Lovely kind staff

As "Sheds" go this one is bright, cheerful, well laid out with helpful staff who seem to know where everything is. I know that these types of stores have been the death knell for the old fashioned hardware stores, but with the range that they carry it is a great place to shop.

My only slight gripe, is the car parking. Being disabled I need to use a disabled space. If none are available I have to park across two spaces in order to allow me sufficient room to enter/exit my vehicle. Quite often the Disabled spaces are abused by able bodied people. If they want my space, they are also welcome to my disabilities !!!

UPDATE - 12/03/2022.

Disabled spaces were, in the main, free. While wearing masks is no longer a must, it was reassuring that 70% of shoppers were still wearing them as was I.
Covid might have receeded for now, no point in taking risks and it seems fairly automatic to put a mask on before entering a shop.

Good social distancing signs and enforcement. Even though they had the rug doctor I wanted in stock, they would not rent it out because it hadn't been appropriately cleaned re: Covid-19 virus.. 10 points for COVID-19 awareness. I was happy to leave empty handed and try again tomorrow for a safer machine.

Social distancing is well managed at this store. One way system around the aisles, all arrowed. Plus all customers get to use hand sanitizer on entry (maybe supermarkets should be doing this!) Well done B n Q 👍

Gigantic store with a huge range on all their goods. Everything is well laid out and clearly organised. Good quality and pricing is not too bad.

This particular store is so large it even has its own small café. There is a great indoor/ outdoor garden area.

Although slightly smaller sinsece Alddi moved in next door still an amazing "Store Cupboard" of products and materials. Has less expensive tools all g with High End equipment. Nevertheless has still maintained its premises position of similar business
