First time I've ever been in one of these stores. Amazing selection and on the whole, great value for money. When I put my change in a charity box the cashier went out of his way to thank me, good customer interaction.

We happened to go into this store whilst in Maldon but often use the Chelmsford branch. This store is situated on a retail park with good parking. The store was neatly laid out and tidy despite the busy clientele.

Me and my partner boyfreind searched on Google to find out the biggest home bargains in Essex and this come up this store was meant to the biggest my partner and I travelled here and was disappointed from the outside looking in looks huge massive but when you get in it's tiny smaller and not any good quality stock stock levels low untidy store there are other home bargains that are much bigger and cleaner and the staff are much friendlier eastan avenue romford much better disappointed and waste of petrol going here

This place is just such good value for money. Branded products at almost Pound Shop prices. It does make you wonder why other stores charge so much for essential items. Decent range of garden stuff and plants plus car or bike maintenance is also catered for quite well. Once you shop there you'll be hard pushed to go elsewhere due to the savings you've made.

Always buy stuff I don't need here.

Good selection of most items

Great bargains! But best of all was the help I got from 2 members of staff. Young man Charlie, stopped what stacking shelves to open the disabled toilets (which are in a private area not for customers) and waited outside in case I needed help. And as I was getting to pay, Julie was closing her lane. However she saw I was struggling and reopened the cash so I wouldn’t have to wait at another lane. GREAT MEMBERS OF STAFF! Thank you Charlie and Julie.

The Huns love it. I love that I can sometimes get essentials cheaper than other places. If you need generic stuff this is the place to go. The staff are pleasant as well.

Nice big store, clean and tidy. Some good bargains in here. Huge cart park too, with plenty of disabled parking.

Best home bargains I've been too, nice and organised, you can find what you want. A decent sized store with a small fridge and freezer isle. Staff were polite and helpful. will be visiting again.

I absolutely love coming here. I'd never heard of home bargains before until my sister in law told me to go. And luckily enough since the opening of the new shopping complex in maldon It is only a short distance from home. I can literally buy most of my essentials, luxuries and food and It is not expensive. Love love love xx

Home Bargains is by far the best discount store chain in the UK.

This one at Maldon Essex is a modern well appointed store with a wide range of mainstream brands for sale at discounted prices.

Both of my daughter's tell me that the women's health and beauty aisle is exceptionally good and everything they have bought there they could not get cheaper elsewhere.

As for me I find I can get every day things I use at a very good discount.

Highly recommend hence 5 🌟
