Tesco Extra

We haven't visited the maldon store in a while but went yesterday and were really amazed by what we experienced. It was of course very busy but spotless in presentation.
We found prices to be very keen and the shelves well stocked.
We found everything we wanted, the girl on the checkout was happy and smiling. But it didn't end there, outside my wife had trouble getting her coin out of the trolley but in a flash the man collecting them appeared and helped her. He then asked if we had found everything we wanted and if we and were we happy. For a supermarket experience this was the best! Well done, see you soon a five star experience

I visited the Haybridge store two days ago and waited for my wife by the checkout.
While sitting near Debbie's checkout she noticed me and thought I looked unwell and took the time to enquire if I was OK.
I was fine but would ask that you pass on my thanks 😊 for her enquiry, it was refreshing in this fast moving world .

We live in Chelmsford but prefer the Maldon Tesco's. Always nice & clean. And a café for breakfast before doing a shop. And the TU section has quite a nice choice for clothes. Also, the EV charges if our car needs to be charged.

I have been using Tesco Maldon quite a lot during lockdown and I have to say the staff are lovely and helpful and each time I’ve been the shelves have been well stocked! And I was pleasantly surprised today at being able to get everything I needed in one shop! I’ve always felt safe to shop in this store with adequate space to keep social distancing and the staff always apologise if they need to pass and I give them the space to do so! I used a very local big store last week for a change and it was the worst shopping experience I’ve had since lockdown, too many people and not enough space to social distance, it was awful! Well done and thank you to all the staff in Tesco Maldon and especially the lady that served me today, I’m just sorry I didn’t take her name!

Please do not listen to out of hours GP pharmacy opens at 8am not 6am. Gutted as waiting since midnight for emergency meds and now can’t get them till open. Please update your information online Tescos states 6am for pharmacy but almost definitely 8 am

This Tesco has pretty much anything and everything you could need and you can tell by the sheer size of the store!

Staff are always friendly and helpful. This store also has other external services too, like a pay@pump petrol station, a hand car wash with a reasonably priced service options.

The click & collect service is great too! Housed in a separate building in the car park, pull up into the sheltered bay, load up your boot and drive away within minutes!

A large store that sells just about everything.
Plenty of parking spaces and lots of trolleys available. I really like the scan and shop facilities. I can shop, scan as I go then pay and leave without queuing at the checkout and without having to unload and repack my shopping.

Good for shopping

Managed to find the fruit drops which every other store nearby have stopped selling! Very good choice of food, good mix of homeware, and wide aisles. They just need to get their act together regarding PAYQWIQ, 2nd time I've put shopping through the till then have to end up paying by card! Annoying when you only take your mobile out with you for that purpose!

It’s like a warehouse it’s so massive. Big selection of F&F and even big bathrooms.

the pig toys for the dogs are amazing, me and the boys loved them. we passed a kid with them and we ran into the kid buying another one, so can we have a share of the profit? thanks boys

Always found it to be well stocked with an excellent selection of produce. Wine & beer selection is one of the best ranges available locally. Staff ALWAYS very friendly & helpful!

Large Tesco store. Has phone shop, photographic shop, opticians and cafe in store. Store also offers clothing for men women and children

Thank u tesco so very helpful in stole still look in u shop on Wednesday afternoon dvds ps4 games buy some more video games thank u doing our shopping every like clean tidy 31 years u just the best food lunch with my sirport worker lots of coffees fizzy drinks are just great

All you need and more

Nice food, wide variety of products, actually funny thing is my Mum, 2 of my Aunties and my Nan have all worked there! It was nice to be back
