B&Q Huddersfield

B&Q is huge store wirh variety of products. My interest was in plants and gardening tools, so, i kept my focus in that area only. But still there is a lit to look around to decore your home.
Quality of products was good but i have not any idea about affordibility or price comparison with other stores.

Big DIY AND garden supplies or garden centres. We’ve got a bargain plant 🪴

Had kitchen design on Saturday 11th May 2024 the staff were brilliant full of knowledge and enthusiasm. Great experience.

Excellent service from Joanne in store today, she went the extra mile to help me and it was much appreciated.

An awesome B&Q with a great selection for home improvements and DIY, I was looking for some tiling and vinyl and there were lots of options available, you can even make your own paint.

B&Q always have what we want. Huge selection of DIY. We found the wood flooring and vertical radiators straightaway and the prices were excellent.

It was very quiet. Noticed that quite a few motorists still persist in driving in straight down the exit lane. There will no doubt be a serious pedestrian accident unfortunately.

Staff very helpful. I needed some decking planks cutting and and apparently they couldn't be done in the machine so a very helpful member of staff called Richard cut them for me by hand, very obliging and courteous.

Brilliant day out. Highly recommended

The staff are always courteous and helpful. The store has a wonderful garden nursery and my favorite the home decor is full of variety and style.
A great shop.

Big place and now well stocked. Huge range of DIY goods. Plenty of free parking. Not many staff when we visited.
Another visit and there seems to be a lot more staff. Still plenty of stock.
Returned again looking for wallpaper. Good stock and helpful display boards. Rest of store seemed well stocked.

I needed a few bits and pieces for gardening and plumbing. I found what I needed and the staff gave me helpful advice, even saving me money by advising me on a cheaper solution to my plumbing needs. I am not someone who enjoys browsing in such places. I like to go in with a list and get out fast. But even I enjoyed the experience because it went so smoothly

1 Prices could be more competitive for a national chain with huge buying power.
2 Their own brands will get the job done but don't match professional quality tools.

Called in to buy grass strimmer. No one around so went to find someone. They put a callout for a person to go to the depatment. A guy came round to where the strimmers were. I asked for some help buying o e. I said to the guy have u any of these in stock. His reply if its not on shelf no we dont. Then turned away with his trooly and went.
I wont step foot in there again.

We visited with a small list of items, from different departments. All were successfully found, at reasonable prices. The store was clean, well set out and with a knowledgeable staff, all willing to offer any help required.

Went in for a bit of MDF.
Wanted it cutting although I wasn't fully prepared with sizes.
The fella that did the cutting was amazing.
Very patient and tolerant of my indecision.
In the end I got exactly what I needed thanks to him.😀😀😀👍

Always had good service from them. Staff always helpful showing you where items are if you can't find them yourself and I've never had any issues with any products bought. Easy free parking outside as well. Would definitely recommend

Has everything you'll ever need for home improvements.
They used to have a lovely little café in the garden area, which would draw customers in, you could sit there and look out onto the fresh looking garden flowers and and uplifting sky. They shut it and moved to the most dull and oppressive part of the store, and so it shut completely, at least I think it did I couldn't be arsed looking. Now I only go to B&Q if I absolutely have to, I used to be coming out weekly for bits for my garden, it used to be a pleasure and a treat.
The staff Leeds road are very chatty, friendly and eager to help.

Visited on a Sunday morning, supposed to open at 10am, got there at 945 to find them already open, also customer toilets very clean, everything I needed to buy was there and staff on hand to help.
