Co-op Food - Forest Gate

Found this particular co op very satisfying to walk around, items well stocked, good staff and quick service, and a lovely lady served me this afternoon, and made a very welcome comment to me. I left super happy ,all the products I needed and plenty of all varieties of fruit /veg. Left with a smile and thanks to this co ops lovely friendly staff, it stands out more.

Lovely staff. Watch the reduced items at till because they sometimes go unchecked. Always busy. Full of bargains. Cheery Big Issue lady on door 3 + years.

Couple of years later and using delivery service. Hit and miss. Recently been overhauled because the drivers became customer aware. The online food availability is an untrustworthy list as often items are not in stock after all. To phone the store or to chase up a late or missing order is a waste of time as the staff have little control over anything and are rushed off their feet. Poor poor supervising from any main headquarters so that ground staff face the hyenas alone without support.

Customer Service grade, Level 3. Very personable experience: I enjoy shopping there, good atmosphere. I shop there first before two other stores. Five stars mean you can still improve, never forget that.

A nice local store with friendly and helpful staff. Seems expensive, but if you use a loyalty card and buy their own brand items, you can make savings on your purchases, or donate to good causes.

Not the cheapest of shops but has a very good selection for its size and helpful staff all around. Bakery goods are fresh and tasty, fruit and vegetables always nice and fresh. Very respectable wine selection, too.

Love this place, can get ingredients for my baking and lovely meat and fruit and veg. Nice choice of beers too!

The place is neat, nice and warm. It is situated near Forest gate main station. What suprises me is that most of the foodstuffs are somewhat expensive compared with other companies selling foodstuffs expecially the most common man food which is bread.The workers are very cheerful, active and respective.

coop in forest gate is a good place to get food items and being just next to station is always good to grab a quick drink or water bottle before you board your train at the station

Very friendly people working there, happy to help me find stuff. Well stocked pretty much all the time, even later at night.

Good asset to the local community. Just a shame that they've replaced the actual workforce (most if not all of whom are really good employees) with 3 self-service machines that don't always do the job.

Actually a really fast place to shop providing you use the self service checkout.. The checkout staff are soooo slow you just might fall asleep waiting to be served! 😂 😂 😂
